Which is the better buy right now?

My last purchase was nearly 3 years ago and it was a Fury X

I do currently have a BenQ Freesync 27" Monitor

Vega as you have a Freesync monitor. Not anything new worth waiting for from AMD coming either apparently, so should last you a long time.

With the monitor I'd suggest AMD however check the prices don't be spending so much on Vega to the point where you could get a 1080 Ti. Even if I had a freesync monitor I'd much prefer the Ti over Vega imo

Thanks folks

My monitor is 1440p

Should vega 64 run pretty high settings on most the new stuff?

New assasins creed/battlefield 5 etc

is it noisey tho having 3 fans on it as obviously my fury x is AIO

ahh, everything is noisy after an AIO cooler though. It's amazing what you get used to.

With a few small tweaks you get the Vega card running a lot quieter. I cant comment on the noise of the 3 fan version as I had the blower one. It was annoyingly loud when I first got it. I am sure the 3 fan cards are a lot quieter than the reference models.

a quick look at a few reviews and you can keep it under 40db pretty easily and even quieter if you have good air flow in your case.

My V64 Red Devil runs at desktop with no fans so quieter than my aio on the cpu. In games i have not really listened as always have my headphones on. Idles at 28oc which is by far the coolest running GPU i have had. Very impressed with it so far.
