Who do you use for email?

I switched to gmail after outlook.com started letting through all the spam. I assume they lowered spam filtering to try to get people to actually pay for it.

outlook.com for the last few years. I have a google account for android but it's tied to my outlook email - no gmail enabled. When I did have a gmail account, it got far too much spam.

GMail since the 2004 beta test days.

Still have my AOL address from 2001 too. Used to use my own domain with a POP3 box in Outlook too but ditched that a few years ago and now it just forwards everything to my GMail.

GMail lets you set anything up with a '+' after your username which is handy to give out to websites so you can keep an eye on who leaks your address e.g. username+ocuk@gmail will go to username@gmail.

I too also often get email meant for someone else obviously by people signing up to websites using my address or getting theirs wrong as I have a rare firstnamelastname GMail address.

I use outlook.com for my main email with multiple aliases.

If I'm signing up to download a file or get a link on sites then I use 10 minute mail:

https://10minutemail.com/10MinuteMail/

I don't really have spam except for a guy who keeps using my email as his - I've now got American health insurance and all sorts because of this (and I've tried telling companies they have the wrong email address) :)

Own domain and gmail. However, if I had to pay for it I'd use someone like posteo.de, mailbox.org, tutanota.com etc. Protonmail looks good, but it's expensive.

I pay for O365 and only recently noticed if I added gmail it's pulled all my email over, so I'm seeing how that is, but it just seems more or less the same.

The new UI is rubbish. Looks like it was designed for a tablet or some tough device.
I use email and webmail the designers must have had high res screens look fine on a 27" quad HD screen..

Another vote for Gmail, with a 27" 1440p screen...

I wish Google would make webmail usable with a laptop screen!

Gmail for personal/shopping ext
Hotmail for random sign ups/Xbox
NHS Mail for current employer/work
Another email for other professional related thing

I personally think that's over the top for email. (unless you have the email addresses forwarded to a main one). I have had my main Apple mail account ever since Apple began doing email and not had any bother with spam or anything.
