Apple Event - 30th October - 2pm - "There's more in the making"

No mention of using eGPU on the mac mini like the Mac air before it? Are they basically marketing it as the new Mac Server - run multiple in nodes?

I think any Mac with a Thunderbolt 3 port can use eGPU, it's built into macOS Mojave. Although they haven't mentioned how many lanes these Thunderbolt ports are - 2 or 4.

Mac Mini looks fantastic, a fair o'l price increase from the previous £500 but worth it for the spec increase. Glad it's been upgraded to be something worthwhile instead of the last few years. Can't wait to see the new iPad Pro.

These sessions are actually pretty cool. If I was in high school again I'd probably head to them to learn how to draw, make music and video after school instead of going somewhere like games workshop.

Not sure what you mean there?

The demand was for the existing Air just to get updated with a better display, because it was the one remaining MacBook that hadn't gone on a port-killing spree a little early for many peoples tastes and obviously existed at a relatively friendly price-point. Not so now.

Will definitely be ordering a new iPad Pro as long as they're not silly expensive. Love the look, and the smaller volume of the bigger one is fantastic.

Fair point, although Pricing was relly down to price reductions over its life? It was a cheap item when first launched was it?
I am keen on it as looked at the Macbook last year and it was just too small for a laptop, for me anyway.
