What's the hardest you've ever laughed?

This scene in Bruce Almighty is up there. Me and my dad were in fits for a good portion of the film after this - Steve Carell is hilarious!

Stood in a beautiful square in Prague at a wedding reception, talking to one of my best friends and a few others. We’re having a nice chat and then he screams the most visceral, pained scream I’ve ever heard.

It took us a moment but then we realised that the biggest, spikiest conker I’ve ever seen has fallen 30ft and beaned him right on the top of the head. I could not breathe for laughing for a good 5 minutes while he hopped around holding his head.

About as funny as the plague..

Agree. I think nauseating, rather than funny, is an apt description of him.

I don't know if he used to be funny; or if I used to find him funny.

Either way, I don't really find him funny now.

Ah well, I never claimed to be normal. I found his nonsense about cats drilling for oil and suchlike surreal humour very funny.

I'll throw in another one from the past - the early seasons of Red Dwarf, particularly Queeg.

Carrying my dads casket.. saddest moment and day of my life..

My older overweight cumbersome brother knocked his glasses off his face lifting the casket.. landed on the floor and then quickly stepped on by another pall-bearer..

The mixture of heartbreak and crippling desire to laugh was honestly the weirdest thing ive ever experienced.

RIP Mr Terley. Sounds like you raised a fine son that can see both sides of a glass.

It was the hardest I'd ever laughed at something you'd posted, if that counts Participant? I'd found a comic strip generator and posted it here in GD a number of years ago and you made one which did make me laugh out loud. I realise that this would make more sense with context but I can't find the thread so that's all I've got :(

e: found it! And it still makes me laugh.

Lmao. I remember that thread. So much untapped potential in there. Nobody bothered!

Another vote for the bottom episode with the gasman....not sure if I’d laugh now being older but at the time even days later when thinking about what I watched had me with stomach ache from laughing

At a wedding, the vicar said "Please don't photograph the entrance of the bride", my mate said "Surely that happens tonight?"

The laughter was more intense due to the fact that we were trying so hard not to.

I think I laughed most when Ritchie answers the door and says "cripes its the gas man" and the gas man is like "yes hello" and Ritchie trying to get Eddies attention shouts "HELLO Mr. GASMAN!" and the gasmans like "er yes hello" , Eddie puts his head out the lounge and says "you what?" and Ritchie says "Hello Mr. Gasman!!", the gasmans now thinking Ritchie is insane, Eddie then says "its the who?" and Ritchie just starts shouting "GASMAN GASMAN GASMAN!"

Mushroom mountain in Koh Phangan. Had a few with some new found friends. A never ending cigarette and bottle of sprite and don't think I've ever laughed so hard. Definitely pee'd myself but was so nutted I had no idea for ages.

Ricky Gervais' drawings for his editor Nigel. Would link it here but it has some rather suggestive imagery. By god, I thought I was going to be sick.

The random skits form Joe Wilkinson on Cats does Countdown are always such good value.

Anything with Brain Gittins in.

Derek and Clive Get The Horn. Still the bluest thing I've ever scene. Can quote it almost word for word though I daren't...

While drunk during a charity videogame livestream when Sjin of the Yogscast (also drunk) was trying to sing I believe in a thing called love on Audiosurf. :p

Close second has to be Izzard again.

The one that stands out is the first time I saw Dumb and Dumber with family. Quite a few scenes.. Petey, Sea bass, the hog, Jeff Daniels bathroom visit etc. My Dad and I were in hysterics, and kept setting each other off.

A close second would be playing Cards Against Humanity with friends and being physically incapable of reading the cards out due to laughing too much.
