I'm not with O2, but heard on the radio that O2 are having nationwide data problems. May save someone a phone restart or two!

Yeah i've just read that now i've got into work. Really annoying when you don't have Spotify for your commute!

Now that I can agree with but reading some of the Twitter comments at like 7am saying "at home, no data! What's wrong with O2" is just baffles me (also, use WiFi). If that's the first thing you complain about when you get up, there are issues in your life. Not the end of the world.

Also, just take some playlists offline :)

Haha, to be fair i do have some music on my actual phone as i had to do that to sync it over to my watch for running so i wasn't completely lost.

More annoying that i only had one episode left on a podcast series i've been listening to and that's what i couldn't listen to!

I agree with how ridiculous some of those comments are though. I can only assume they do have wifi since they were able to tweet about it!

Hate it when that happens, but I do get your point. I've had similar issues in the past. Especially when you're looking forward to catching up on something.

Haha, the annoying thing is, without data, I was unable to know that the network was down :D

I thought my phone was ignoring data connections due to being under 15% battery (which would be a stupid feature), glad that wasn't the case.

Mines down as well but the comments some make... Some people really need to gain some perspective. It's gone down for me once in a year. I don't think that's too bad personally. Considering how complicated the tech is behind stuff like this it's a miracle it works at all let alone going down once in a year! :D

Although i've just remembered an even bigger issue.

With no 4G i couldn't open the Starbucks app on my phone and i had a free coffee voucher which had to be used by 8am today which i couldn't use. Wonder if i could sue O2 for the cost of one overpriced coffee?

My father is on GiffGaff and his data is down too as I write this.

Oddly enough last night at midnight Virgin Media broadband went down on our whole street - that hasn't happened in years. It finally came back online at 9am this morn.

I am with O2, no data problems for me at the moment. But a friend on GiffGaff is not able to use their data and it seems to be affecting calls and SMS messages too - confirmed by this message on their website:
Our technical teams are investigating reports of issues when using data. Calls and texts are also intermittently not working. Our technical teams are investigating. We apologise for any inconvenience.
