Why are Americans so nice?

You're comparing apples to oranges. Again London vs your massive suburban house in a well off area isn't a good comparison. Compare some quint little village in England with where you live and the friendliness etc is much more even. America is a big place, just because well off suburban areas in Florida are friendlier, doesn't mean some inner city areas of America will be friendly. So unless you have visited every state and the poor and well off areas of each state, then you have no idea either.

Not really. The difference is in the culture. The mannerisms are entirely different. Even in ghettos areas. The kids still say yes mam and yes sir?? even if they're poor and will probably end up carrying out a life of crime.. Yob culture is far less. Hooligans are not so much of a thing. In England no matter if in London or a smaller town.. There's always that little gang. They spit on the floor in their hoodies and try and be gansta. Road rage is also far more prevalent in the UK. You don't get out your car in America to act all hard to try and intimidate. You're not really all that hard when someone potentially has a gun. You'll most likely be shot in self defense, by a panicked bystander if you bowl over in a very aggressive threatening manner. Then there's the artificial customer service, artificial maybe, but once again adds to experiencing politeness. Which you just don't get as much of in the UK.. Overall, we (my wife and i) both Brits born and raised much prefer it here, having experienced both cultures for a sustained period of time. We visit suburbia London and rural England every couple of yrs, and as much as we like ol blighty, we don't miss living there.

So tell me, why are there so many that want the American dream? Some have moved out there and at some point down the line has become an American citizen. Even though it has taken a very long time.
Why don't you ask them. "The American dream" is no longer a thing. All men are created equal....unless you're African American, Hispanic, etc, etc.
