A burglar has admitted having sex with a body at a funeral home.

Kasim Khuram, 23, broke into the Co-Operative undertakers in Walsall Road, Great Barr, Birmingham, on 11 November.

A judge at Birmingham Crown Court warned Khuram, who pleaded guilty to sexual penetration of a body, that he faced a "substantial" jail term.

Sentencing has been adjourned until 31 January while a psychiatric report is carried out.

Khuram, of Kenilworth Road, Aston, Birmingham, also admitted burglary.

Following his arrest he was briefly sectioned, the court heard.

So Grim! Imagine being the poor family of the deceased as well, as if grieving isn't bad enough you have to deal with the body being defiled by some sicko.

This is why it was a mistake to close the Asylums.

Forget expensive and pointless criminal trials that only serve to fill Lawyers wallets, This isn't a criminal issue, it is a Bat**** insane one!

People like this should just be sectioned and lobotomised!

No need to do something as archaic and foul as a lobotomy. This guy is a burglar and has sex with dead things, a padded cell would keep him and others safe enough.

Its a treatment and it worked. :D

(The reason why it has gone out of fashion it that despite the fact that a lot of people did live better lives after such surgery, an unacceptably large number didn't. But for this Guy, He is clearly so far gone that I just want to see him locked away and rendered harmless to others (Including the other people in the Asylum!))

Well unless the other inmates are corpses I'm not sure you really have a valid argument, but who am I to argue with a qualified medical professional. Carry on Doctor.

In terms of the efficacy of the lobotomy, amputation will cure a sore finger, but I'd rather take some painkillers.
 
I wonder (seriously) what jail time will actually do for someone like this.

He's not interested in the living. He's a danger to the dead. Agree that he should be under mental health care/asylum as apposed to an actual prison.

You are attracted to whatever or whoever you're attracted to. Sticking him in a prison isn't going to change that. Its a waste of resource as people get blinded by emotion.

However, I am assuming there is an asylum of sorts he can go to. I don't actually know. :)
