PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

WackyJacky put up a vid about it a few days ago with side by side comparison videos.

I think it's only really a problem if you're always full auto firing due to the fire rate/refresh sync, I can't imagine tap fire would have the same problem unless you have parkinsons fingers.

EDIT: Doh, that link above has the WJ vids in it, lol

nothing new in fps games been like it since they came out. this is why certain engines have caps. quake or eg. higher than 250 fps. you could fire quicker. run faster. jump further. even skip footstep sounds.

pubg sound is okay. there is so many variables. win 10 screws so many things over also. the only thing about pubg thats bad sound wise is the more than 4 sounds at once issue apart from that its fine. if you have it set up right.

Whats this game actually like if playing mostly solo? im tempted to buy it but not 100% sure, is it better in squads or can it be fun in solo as will mostly be playing it on my own if I get it lol most my friends irl that are on pc don't like it.

Thanks

squads is so much more fun. worry not if your friends don't play it - there's a very active OcUK (unofficial) Discord. join and jump in a room......have some fun

I haven't played solo for a very long time. Prefer squads, much more fun....unless you are the first to die and have to watch the rest of the game :D

It's good in both solos are squads.

I find it better to try and improve by playing solos, as you are almost always fully responsible for your own death, with the actions you did. It's easier to learn to play as a solo, as you haven't got team members in your ear adding complexity.
Duos/Squads is good fun, probably more fun and a little less serious... If you like to be social and are happy to work in a team, then play either random squads (you get added to a queue to play with randoms) or join the discord channel and sit in one of the PUBG ## Rooms, someone will likely join you. They're listed with numbers on the side, so if it's 3/4, there's a space free... so join someone.

If you need to learn, I'm more than happy to provide some teachings to get you started, if you decide to buy it.

Thanks for replies, think I may buy it in a mo, just going to go watch a few youtube vids to make sure lol

Thanks again

Go for it, I've clocked up 686 hours, almost all solo, and I can't stop playing :).
I've enjoyed watching WackyJacky101 YouTube videos recently, seems like a decent player, informative, and good videos to watch.

Downloading now :) do I need to keep the test and experimental servers installed? is it worth having them or should I just install the main game?

Thanks
