I am looking for a car with naturally aspirated engine as I dislike all turbo ones.

My favourite is a Toyota gt86, are there any other ones about new or used under £15k.

E46 M3, one of the best NA enignes!
Honda S2000, another of the great champions of NA.

Though hard within budget and also can be big running cost, E92 M3 or E60 M5, but at 15k would be a bottom of market car that would need money.

A really clean E46 M3 or S2000 would be money well spent as chances are it will appreciate in value. GT86 is still modern and in production, so will depreciate, also be sure to look at stuff like Nissan 370Z also.

You could scrape a C63 for that. :D
The last of the big NA V8's.

(Don't though! You'll be right at the bottom of the barrel, and if you can only just afford to buy it, you'd not be able to afford to run it.)

Import options such as Honda Integra Type R DC5, Honda Accord CL7 Euro R and i think you may even get into a Civic FD2 Type R territory

Quick google seems to suggest despite being imports they're not expensive to run since componants are shared with our UK cars.

Typical honda reliability, fun revvy n/a engines (220bhp), LSD, all have usable back seats the latter 2 have back doors, and these cars seem to be appreciating from watching the market for the past few years (Been wanting an Accord Euro R for years)

Something worth considering if you want to be different.

Anything NA that fits my size.

I am turning 40 this year and never really had anything sporty, so looking for a NA car, 4 seats min, under 10 secs 0-60, petrol and too expensive to run.

At 6'+ the passenger seat behind the driver in the GT86 is going to be useless unless the child has no legs or your driving position is going to be highly compromised.

Most Japanese sports cars are a pretty tight fit, even for average sized people.

Even if you can squash your legs behind the seats in the gt86, you can't get your feet in as the front seats are almost touching the floor. You have to sit cross legged :p

You can find plenty under 15k, but ones with options and the manual gearbox hold their value a lot better. Population is a bit thin as well so you might need to travel.

Are there any good big 4wd heavy na cars still being made? Think Evo or Impreza saloon size close to 2 tonnes but na? Hmm..

Can you get the Audi RS4 V8 NA for under 15k still or have they all rocketed? Probably the best car of its type if NA is a must, glorious engine even if most of them do only make around 360HP.

Dont want another AWD as my other car is a Honda CRV. This is a car for me to commute in.

I used to have a Mini Cooper which could fit the whole family in.

I do like the Cooper S but don’t want a turbo.

Also I ain’t no mechanic.

Buy a S2000 and leave the kids at home. At least make sure you drive one before you make up your mind. There’s plenty of room for a tall person in the front!

At this budget you’ll struggle to find a better engine.

Turbo engines have come along way. Massive difference between my old R26 and 140i. The B58 engine doesn't even feel turbocharged really.
