a burlap sack and suitably heavy weight should sort out the cat allergy......well, technically the allergy still exists, it's just the cause will have been removed![]()
My daughter is allergic to cats and until it was confirmed we removed the cat completely from the household by sending it to a friends house for a few weeks.
By the time the medical results came back we already knew anyway because the improvement was near immediate once the cat was gone, twas plus for me as well because I hate the things!
where in the post you quoted does it make any reference to sending the daughter to foster care? You made the right choice. Daughter is probably better off in foster care.
My solution to the Cat problem.....

I like Cats, alas they don’t.
I take an anti-histamine tablet beforehand, but it's not 100% effective. After a while I still end up with itchy eyes and a streaming nose.
Thankfully there isn’t many Lions roaming around Staffordshire.Lions are still a type of cat!
Yep - about as allergic as I think I could be, without choking!!! My approach is just to avoid them as much as possible.
