That is becoming more regular for me. I have muted talk now as randoms either don’t use it or just abuse it.

Currently on the worst run since I started playing. Can barely pick up a kill and the couple of wins I had I would have been given a participation award
 
haha worst(best?) win ever, literally saw nobody all match, heard a lot of gunfire but never saw anyone, finally saw one guy, shot him, winner, 1 kill, barely any damage done. :p
 
How much does something like Shadowplay affect fps during play? I have a 2060 and SSD, and am CPU bound most of the time, so wondering if it used GPU/HD only it shouldnt affect me performance wise?

Haha at least you’re getting some kills and a win or 2. With apologies to mischief and chokka who carried me as I didn’t get a single kill in just over a 2 hour session d0h

Absolutely no issue, I had loads of fun regardless! We got unlucky at times. I’ve definitely been carried by others recently so it was nice to get at least a few kills and to do some damage. I’ve been away from FPS games for a while and I’m finally feeling like I’m getting my eye in a bit now :)

I’ll definitely be on over the weekend for a bit so I’ll give a shout on Discord :)

Yes definitely was fun non the less. Will also be around the weekend evenings, then away for 3 weeks on hols, and hopefully / maybe the battle pass will be out by the time I’m back :D

I only ever do the server trick when solo queing (which isn't often) As I don't know if it even works when in a 3 stack. Couple times we has the usual slow motion start to the game. Which was because the hotzone was Skull town and the flight path was already right over it. Probably half the server or more landed there :D
 
Came across my first speed hack player this morning. Outta nowhere he came ! Was quite funny to see it.... but annoying also. Where o where is the report button ( and why cant the server realise the speed of a player and restrict it )

I'm pretty sure trying to detect and control player speed on the server side can result in bad rubber-banding due to false positives and lag...

Saw a Reddit clip where someone was in Bunker and a speed hacker came flying round the corner, but they managed to down the hacker with a peacekeeper shot. Then discovered that the speed hack still applies to the crawling when downed! Looked so funny seeing someone hyper-crawling about

Very tough in Apex when it's totally legit to move very quickly skating down slopes/jumping around with no fall damage. I am glad I play on console...
