Huh? £150 is a a low band which would only apply to quite small properties. I don’t know how you’ve understood that uk council tax is as cheap as £150 let alone that being the highest rate....do you have a property in the uk? :confused:

West Oxon for example, most council tax rates are broadly similar across the uk. Only the bottom few bands are under £150pcm.

The council tax in my borough starts at £963, the most expensive is £2890.

I'd love to have £150 council tax

Yeah, but must be awkward for budgeting, with it not matching getting paid. Do you ever get two rent payments in a single calendar month, for example?

No I get paid last Friday of the month so always 4 weeks paid. some months I get 5 weeks pay depends how it falls, but rent is always 4 weeks worth
