I'd imagine the ones that do popular spots probably have a mobile card reader these days but no guarantee.

Oh and obligatory it is just a front for money laundering anyhow.

Quick google suggests the ones that are part of or endorsed by the main ice cream/desert brands typically do take card payments but many of the independent ones don't.

The one who visits my road is cash only. The sugar content probably does more harm to the population (tooth decay, diabetes, over-weight) than the "special" ice cream you are referring to
