Le Mans 2019

Glad the FGTs didn't win in GT Pro. Was hoping the Porsche would get the win in GT Am, but Bleekemolen jumping in the Keating GT at the end put paid to that one.

Good racing from start to finish but a lot of incidents this year, GTE Pro has been my favourite this year.

The BoP didn't help for sure, but the Aston's couldn't keep their rear tyres alive for more than half a single stint, let alone a double/triple/quadruple. The lack of pace seems like an underlying engineering mistake.

So that's why it was 2 stops.

But... How?!

Makes the conspiracy theory that it was to get the championship winners the Le Mans win a touch more plausible.

Was always going to be that.

Hence calling team orders and telling number 7 to hold station when they were by far the better car the whole race and were far more deserving of the win.

Right. I want absolutely no comments from any of y'all for about a God damned decade regarding Ferrari team orders in F1 after that deal from Toyota...:p

What? with former Ferrari driver Alonso having been gifted the double+championship? fat chance :p

We-e-ell...

A year at Minardi, five at Renault, a year at McLaren, back to Renault for two more, five at Ferrari then back to McLaren for another four (four in F1, he's still involved with the team now for Indy and brand stuff).

So he spent more time at Renault than Ferrari. And has somehow spent more time at or involved with McLaren as well even though they keep giving him far worse cars than Ferrari did at times :p
