It's too hot :(

This heat is horrible. And were only getting around 24 - 26 degrees here. Some places in Europe are getting upto 45 degrees! I can’t even imagine that. I would legit die D:

The humidity is a touch too high making it feel horrid - fortunately where I am there is a fair bit of wind blowing in over the valley which is just keep it bearable even though it isn't that hot here.
 
This is about as hot as I like it, mid 20s is perfect and there’s a lovely cooling breeze to go with it. Dreading Saturday but thankfully temps will be back down to low 20s after that.
 
Got fed up and purchased a portable aircon, its loud and inefficient as hell, but it'll keep me cool during the summer, I can live with that.

This is why old French houses have stone walls a foot thick and shutters over the windows. The modern ones have shutters and at least one AC unit bolted on somewhere.

40°C outside right now. 24°C inside according the CH thermostat.

I have a big pool parasol that I move around if working on the terrace or I just wait until evening or the following morning.

Everywhere else, I work in the shade or find an indoor job to do.
 
28c at my desk. I'm on a mezzanine in a car showroom with windows 3 sides round it. No windows up here and no air circulating. This is getting silly.

Lol! I knew this morning I bet the OcUK forums are bitching about it today. It was 40C in the greenhouse after 10AM.
 
another sublime day here ,no surf but a nice cornish sparkling cider on the balcony at fistral ,walk to polly joke and a bit of a snooze ,

People do die in that kind of heat. Its a strange part of the human condition that people say "we love this heat! Its great! Bring it on!" right to the point they keel over from heat exhaustion.
 
I started a new job a few weeks ago, which involves a fair bit of bus and train use here in Londons. I have now been reminded that...People smell :(

Albeit I didn't commute daily on a bus or train in London but mostly I didn't find it too bad - but you do atleast once a week encounter someone who plainly hasn't washed in months, etc. :(

I largely just put up with it :( but I've seen people lose their cool before and liberally spray someone with deodorant to the amusement of everyone else.
