Something super is coming...

No 2080ti Super = boring marketing strategy. Even if it is overpriced it's the only semblance of a true high end card upgrade that will keep next gen consoles in their box and hopefully put space invaders to bed.

What is this obsession with the bs Marketting coming from Sony and ms in regards to their next generation consoles? They will be outclassed by a mid range gpu by the time of release.

2070 or wait for 2080 super... hmmm...

You make that sound as though the 2070 Super is a worthy upgrade from the 1080Ti.

It offers 1080Ti performance for £500, that is an absolute WIN for NVIDIA and consumers, people will still moan it should be £300, but the simple fact is £500 for 1080Ti performance is cheaper than any 1080Ti ever sold at and RTX 2070 SUPER has more features and offers the same performance and is more future proof so it really is a fantastic card for the money and I can see those being the sweet spot sales wise.

We'll still be paying high end prices for mid range cards when next gen consoles are released at this rate.

when are you guys expected to start selling?

I would buy a new card but I'm also happy to wait untill 3000 series. It's summer anyway so not much gaming time due to heat in the loft.

Anyway an upgrade for a 1080... Doubt it's really worth it to buy even a 2080 super. (1440p)

from what I saw on the gamers nexus latest video the 2070 super only beat the 1080ti in 2 tests and only came close in the others when overclocked vs a stock 1080ti
