I put my pre-order in for one yesterday, the long wait commences!

Hopefully when Gibbo is back from his holidays he might have some rough information from Asus about supply schedules.

weird, that means 13 have gone. I think someone on here said they were #9 and it's not been shipped (edit, just saw #9 was shipped). Also, I was #13 and mines not been shipped either, so it doesn't add up. unless I've been bumped back a spot?!?

Several people have said they cancelled and the guy who was #9 said his shipped the next day.

Got my RTX 2070 Super card now.
I won't put in the i2500k build, as it would feel like a Porsche with a Mini engine.
I mean, too much backlog. So I am waiting for my X570 Ultra, currently out of stock to use with my 3700x.

I think severe lack of stock at launch.

Seems like a lot of people have been cancelling their preorders. I went from number 50, to currently 23 in the queue today. I put in the order a week ago. Hopefully a large batch comes in soon.

I would appreciate it you did! As per the thread I made here yesterday I was looking at getting a 2070s and using it with my 2500k while I waited for next gen ryzen. I know it's faffing around but would you mind putting it in so I could get an idea of how much the 2500k would bottleneck?
Looking to play 1080p at 120hz and a bit of dabbling in 4k on the less intensive games.

I could do, but I prepare to wait for every component to be delivered, to use it all together.
Also, not gaming currently, whilst I wait for all these parts.

How do you tell if cpu would be bottleneck ? is it that the cpu would be at 100% and gpu at like 50% or summit like that, i thought most games today are all about the gpu really, i know older games depending on cpu more.

Yep.

I upgraded my Q6600 @ 3.6 when I found it couldn't run Dying Light at 1080P @ 60fps with a 670.

The CPU was running maxed out with the GPU less so.

When I tried it with an X5650 @4.4 with the same GPU, it maxed it out with the CPU not even breaking a sweat.

I would have thought so.

You can always run Afterburner and see what results you get.

A lot depends upon what rez you run as well.

I recently upgraded to the 2070 Super with a 2500k, time for a CPU upgrade!, the 2500k just isn't cutting it with this card,
