#METoo Misfire

Reading those supporting her after this is disgusting. She did everything she could to ruin the guy.

MeToo has pretty much turned in to a man hating club and not much else.

Turned in to? It was so well designed as a sexist witch hunt that it's implausible that it wasn't deliberate right from the start. Nobody demands presumption of guilt based solely on a biological trait without extreme prejudice.

This won't change anything much. The number of people who see that video will be relatively tiny and many of them will dismiss it anyway because it conflicts with their sexism. At most, it will be briefly acknowledged as a misfire. Not a fundamental problem with the thing itself, just a one-off mistake.

To be honest, it's turned into such an attention-whoring blue-haired pigs screeching joke that most normal people don't pay any attention anymore to anyone that claims to have been raped. I automatically just think 'another lying attention-seeker'. Sad as there's legitimate victims that's potentially suffering because of a few loudmouths with a Twitter account that needs more 'followers'.

I don't think most people think that and it's not normal.

I certainly hope not. It's easy to become very like the monster you're hunting, but I hope most people don't. Most people aren't staring into the abyss hard enough for long enough. I hope.

This is a result of the "We must believe the accuser/victim" mentality and the move away from the presumption of innocence until proven guilty, you only had to have heard the Mueller hearing a few days ago to see how perverse it is where Mueller says he can't "exonorate" Trump... what he means is he can't find a shred of evidence but they still presume he's guilty because there have been accusations made against him.

?

She accused this guy of sexually assaulting her when the first time she went over to his hotel room they played card games and he didn't even dare try to kiss her, what an utter scumbag of a woman.

Look at the poster.

I mean, he's right, but why Trump has to be brought in to all his discussions is a mystery.

The investigator was asked by both sides to use words which benefited them and he declined to do so. Not even close to passing judgement.

I don't think most people think that and it's not normal.

For social media, they do kinda take it all with a pinch of salt now. Most normal people dont follow metoo, or care what it says.

When we hear this stuff in the news its "oh here we go again...". Because most of the time its like this case, some spitefil ***** attacking someone. Im hoping their victims start suing them to put an end to it.

Andy's not even close to being out of the woods yet. The fact that one chick lied about their experience doesn't change the fact that there's a whole bunch of other chicks with allegations he's made no attempt to refute.

There do need to be prosecutions for provably false allegations. Had police not found child porn on Carl Beech's laptop ( https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-49048972 ) I suspect nothing would have been done to him despite millions of pounds wasted and many reputations ruined on his lies.

I suspect it would have been, seeing as he was convicted of 12 counts of perverting the cause of justice.

But presumably after the porn was found?

There was that bloke not too long ago who ended up taking a private prosecution against his false accuser (who then killed herself), the CPS seemingly had no interest in doing it themselves which, if reflective of their general attitude does appear to be a bit of a blindspot.

It certainly does no favours for the actual victims of rape and sexual assault for a rape allegation to be something that can be weaponised via a false allegation and with little to no comeback if found out.

Is there a 'tl;dr' for this?
If you're a semi/famous YouTuber and married with kids - keep it in your pants - it never ends well, and someone always has an agenda.

If this is too difficult - get a 'Go-Pro' surgically grafted onto your ****, as it won't speak in your defence after the fact.

And he talks about some historical flirtatious texts that have been blown out of context since April Dawn (his wording/defence not mine) - general gist is don't be dick with your family/career, but be sure to keep evidence if you intend on being one.

I'm sure i've missed something - but these Tubers all blur into one homogeneous mass of apologies/excuses/wrongly accused - but the guy/evidence seemed genuine enough - but who knows with these things.

Roll on the next one...
