Was just checking the weather for here, 4 hours of thunderstorms now gone, tomorrow is now forecast to be our hottest day of the week here.

I've just been reading this amazing account of a pilot who ejected above a thunderstorm. It's off topic, but too marvellous not to mention. At the very least it helps take our minds off the stifling mugginess this evening.

Today was a struggle. Ended up napping in the afternoon, something I never do. Had to make two trips out today, so have walked around 11 miles.

Heard the occasional distant rumble here in Somerset but nothing on the map closer than 20-30 miles - shame it seems to all be off the east coast as the energy setup is quite something.
