Navi 20 is the Nvidia killer

"Big Navi" will come out and then the 2080BigTi Super Dooper Wooper will come out offering 30% more power for around £10 more.
I suspect 30 series won't be too far away by the time Navi 20 is released and really doubt it'll be competing with a similar feature pack anyway (RT).
Performance has to also be considered with a timeframe. By the time Navi 20 arrives the 2080 Ti will be at least one year old probably.
Good to see AMD doing better though and I think they will close the gap with some of the profits from CPU;s directed into GPU R&D. For now I think they're still a long way behind and behind the curve of NV's releases.

2080 Ti is already more than 10 months old and by the end of September, it will be 1-year-old.

I really hope AMD will pick up the pace. I'm with Nvidia since mid 90s and I must say it's the first time I'm disappointed with thei GPUs. I bought 2070s and while performance gains Vs my 1080 is there, I feel like I could easily wit till rtx3xx comes out. Ray tracing is pointless and way to early, DLLS is absolutely worthless in every game I tested it at 2k resolution. At least I have a better reseale value when I'm buying a new one. AMD features seem so much better this generation around and I can see my next pc with AMD parts in it.
