it wasn't a failure, it was attended by a small but perfectly formed group. I think we all had a good evening, even though you dragged me away from playing some fancy table curling game thing with a bunch of hipstersI'm not doing any more after the last one was a failure
I'd be up for another one.
I may be biased but I think some of the best meets we had were the Swansea Christmas Bashes. Who would have thought we could get thirty or forty internet people together in Swansea, the weekend before Christmas? We had people travel from all over the UK to Swansea for those bashes, they were great fun and many long lasting friendships (and at least two marriages) were seeded at those get-togethers.
/edit - The memories keep flooding back.. You're right, the OMGWTFBBQ camping trips were epic and I may even still have the t-shirt. We also had a lot of fun when a load of us went cottaging near Chester.
