*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

Not sure if you purchased this in the end, but just noticed and advert saying they are doing a free weekend for it on steam, along with a sale if you decide to buy.

thanks. I’ve just been playing the demo. Do prefer the scenery to Euro but it looks way worse. Jaggies everywhere.

EDIT: Fixed by a simple relaunch of the game! Now it looks like 4K should.

So my eldest is pestering my something rotten to get RDR2 so we can play online together. I guess I should be flattered that a teenage kid still wants to hang out with me online :)

But I never pay this amount of money for games! I usually wait for them to be £20 or below, tbh.

Best deal I can find is Eneba for £45.55. Is that the best I'm likely to get?

Never used nor even heard of this company before, though. It looks legit and has an entry on chashback sites (not sure whether that indicates anything, though, tbf), but has anyone got any experience with them?

Its £44.99 from CDKeys who have never let me down, might me able to save a bit more if they still do the Facebook code discount.

Cheers. It looks like the FB code deal is over, though, from what I can see. I should get 5.7% cashback with Eneba but only 2.1% with CDKeys. So works out £1 cheaper on Eneba, but that's not enough to sway me to go with a new key company I've never heard of. Thanks. I think I'll grab that CDKeys deal!

Still so much money! :)

The game is reported to be having quite a few problems at the moment, unsure if you have heard about this or not mate but if not I'd do a bit of digging and decide if you want to spend that much money on something that just plain doesn't work for a lot of people.

Yeah, thanks for the warning, but I had heard.

Ordinarily there's no way I'd even be looking to get this for probably another year, until it's been patched and the price has dropped. I'm only even considering it because my eldest is mad on it and really wants to be able to play together online.

Hopefully this link works for you (depends on what you have your pages set to I think, mine is normal page numbers, 20 posts per page.) But it is a post over in the RDR2 thread about getting the game just under £30, or was so at the time of the posting any way. Linky to said thread. Thought I point you there since from what others said they don't think the price will drop anytime soon. Good luck !

Ah, you mean the ones suggesting using a VPN to buy via Ukraine?

That is a nice saving. I only use a free VPN, though, which doesn't include Ukraine without a subscription.

Interesting idea, though. I may have to have a play around with trying that out this evening. Cheers! :)
