check your ram settings are actually ok also make sure you are on the latest driver. I had the same issue with my 5700xt (daisy chain, 650w PSU and 3900x) no issues now.

Will do - definitely on the latest drivers, but what would need changing RAM wise?

Just awaiting a response from seasonics European partner for a cable. Fun fun!

Definitely buy a new PSU if you can't find the original cables. You risk your whole PC otherwise, and I've seen other people lose theirs to exactly this situation.

Just FYI, the 550w PSU only comes with ONE pci-e power cable. It's the 650w and above that comes with two.

It's another sneaky way that PSU manufacturers use to ensure that their PSUs are upsold.

Also there shouldn't be any issues running a 5700xt on a daisy chained cable from a focus gold.
I'm personally running a 1080ti on a daisy chained cable with a focus plus gold.
Makes no difference on a single rail PSU.
It's only an issue on a multi-rail PSU where each individual rail cannot provide enough power to run a GPU on an individual rail.

Always use separate rails for a GPU tbh.

As above, it could be ram. Are you using 2 sticks or 4 and have XMP enabled?

2x8gb. I believe XMP is still enabled currently. I was having issues a few months back with XMP enabled as that was causing blue screens also. I'll check later.

Says on the box that there should have been two cables in there, surely they can't lie about that. You're right though, it is single rail - so you're saying an extra cable won't help?

Well I'm lost for solutions then :D Don't know where to go from here!

Edit: wasn't XMP enabled. I've now put that back on, just so I know, what effect is that going to have?

I used to have this very same PSU with a Red Dragon V56 via 1 cable that splits into an 8-pin and a 6-Pin?

I had 0 issues with 550Watts, have you updated the drivers recently or perhaps a fresh install of Windows?
