Black Friday wishlist...

Sorry I should have been more specific, I'm after the powerful one with 950nm of torque:

Also want the hog ring version rather than detent pin, Amazon are doing it for £149 but Screwfix is only round the corner so for the sake of a tenner I'd get it there in case there's any problems. That is, if I can't get it cheaper anywhere else.

Black Friday is just a marketing scam. And how can a Friday go on three weeks?
Meh, I don't really care what the event is for, the prices for a lot of things are dropped and its a great chance to get your christmas presents bought early. For example, I got a few large Yankee candles for £7 each from Amazon, which are usually like £28 or so full price. Thats a few presents sorted on the cheap.

Might be a bit late, but have you seen the set of small jars direct from Yankee. They're classed as factory seconds but seems there's not much wrong with them.

£2 each vs £6 elsewhere.

Again, good for little gifts if going round to friends for a drink.

I picked up a pair of Adidas Gazelles for the wife, annoyingly she really likes them in the dark grey which never seem to be on sale. But there was a 30% discount code on the Adidas website.

That Which article is aimed at the normies that don't know how to use apps like camel camel or use sites like hotukdeals and just go panic buying anything with a sale sticker on it. Of course it's mostly hype, no one actually expects retailers to sell everything at a loss do they? There are some genuine bargains out there. Sites like Hotukdeals help find them.

@Marvt74 Thanks, yeah I did see that pop up on Hotukdeals, but had already bought the £7 large candles.

Exactly, the same people who are probably on the Standard Variable Rate of their mortgage or overpaying for Utilities.

The whole point of a sale is to clear out old stock. What do you think the boxing day sales are? It's just clearing out unsold Christmas stock. Expecting the latest and greatest things to be reduced is just stupid.

As @Mark A says, as long as you know what things usually cost and have a plan of what you want then there are some big savings to be made.

If anyone sees any adult electric scooters on offer please tag me a link :) much appreciated

Just ordered a pair of Bower and wilkins PX Noise cancelling wireless headphones from Amazon Spain £163 delivered.

Been tempted to invest in these or the sony wm-1000xm3 for about a year and could not justify spending £250-£300 on a pair but at that price I bit.

Just seen the Logitech K780 brand new for £21.80 inc VAT considering it's £35-£40 anywhere else as the cheapest price and typically between £55 and £75 other times, that's a rather splendid price to the point I'm tempted to just buy and keep it as spare when my current K780 wears out.

Weird how it's an Amazon Business price only whereas the same link via consumer Amazon is nearly double the price.

I think the problem is that Black Friday started really early this year, everyone was jumping to be the first to kick it off.

Really need to use HUKD and 3 x Camels to make sure the prices being paid are actually good :)

Looking out for a multi bay nas enclosure or microserver type thing for CCTV storage.

Trick is obviously not to be sucked in to things you weren't otherwise going to buy and to make sure that the price offered is actually a reduction using price comparison sites.
