Your game of the decade?

WoW (Legion xpac) or Payday2, for pure hours spent

For quality of experience: Witcher3 or Divinity2

Other mentions: Bioshock Infinite, Doom, SOMA

Skyrim for me.

I've put a few hundred hours into that the last 8 years, more than any other game since Street Fighter II in all its guises.
 
The Witcher 3 for the rich story and beautiful open world, but the gameplay sucked. It would have been perfect if it had better combat and more interesting levelling.

The Phantom Pain for its amazing gameplay, sadly the story and open world were lacking.
 
Red Dead 2 for me, Far Cry 5 might have been there except for the annoying "Only You" sequences which spoilt it for me, we were in a shop one day and they played it over the speakers, it gave me the shivers, lol
 
Single player, i have to say for me, Read Dead 2 and Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Both great open world games, good story lines on both and lots of playability (length wise).

Multiplayer, for me would be Battlefield 3, major upgrade on previous titles and still playable today. I know it had a bad start, but compared to newer titles i'd sooner play this.
 
For me The Witcher 3, Borderlands 2 and Skyrim are all worthy contenders. Nobody would bat an eyelid if I picked anyone of them to be my game of the Decade.

Other games that I would rate as right up there with the best would be any of the Tomb Raider games, Dragon Age Origins, Metro 2033, GTA V, Guild Wars 2 and Civilisation V.

But, I have narrowed down my game of the decade to the following:-

Faster than Light.
Stalker: Call of Pripyat.

I can't really choose between them.

I think it was out at the very start of 2010.

EDIT: ok, just checked, it was initially released in October 2009 in certain places, but only released in North American and Europe in 2010. Feb 11th 2010 is the release date on Steam.

So I guess it depends on which release date you go by.
