A nice topic with easy pictures to end the year on :)

What it's your most prized possession? Not most expensive or flashiest, this isn't to show off what you have, but display something you are proud of or want everyone to see, something you would be absolutely devastated to part with.

Include pictures if you have any :)

My most prized possession is is a key ring which my aunty got for me from Kenya when I was still at school many, many moons ago. She passed this year and it is what I have always with me to remember her by.

My wife and the baby inside her.

If you want a martial answer, I guess it would have to be my house, with my TV being a close second

Aside from daughter and wife? Probably my PC due to the fun it has always provided me. I am not very sentimental to be honest so I don't have stuff that relatives have passed down.

Material possessions I don't think anything these days I'd be truly devastated if I lost - I think some of my data like photos, source code for things I've programmed, etc. due to the memories, etc. attached to them would probably be something I felt the most - though they are backed up with several layers of redundancy but you never know.

Awwwwww that's lush :)

Mine would have to be my collection of Corgi Model Lorries, most were bought for me from my nan who passed away in 2010, she got me them when I was younger, every week I'd go visit her and she'd have a new one waiting for me :)

I would have to say, the most prized possession I have, is a small wooden bowl that my step father made for me, it was the first bowl he carved after he had recovered from major eye surgery and was the result of our burying the hatchet so to speak after 20 or so years of bad blood.

The second, I do not have yet, but is a guitar that I have commissioned as a memorial to my grandparents who passed away in 2018, I wanted something that I could use regularly and would mean something special to me, if not for anyone else.

My 1994 Merlin sticker album.

Not Really. I'd say my house and car are, they are nothing special but still more than what a lot of people have.

Plenty of things that have sentimental value that I’d be gutted to lose, but if I had to pick one...

A teddy bear from the late 40s that was my fathers from when he was born.

With him no longer around it’s my turn to look after him :)

Not really prized as such in a ‘hey everybody look at this’ kind of way, it’s a private thing.

Yeah I genuinely couldn't give a crap about most of my material possessions. Certainly nothing I own is "prized". It helps that I own nothing expensive. Nothing at all. I like that, personally.

Stuff is variously useful, rarely hard-earned, occasionally satisfying to acquire... but none of my stuff makes me happy, and all of it I could live without. Most of it I wouldn't even miss. Might even be better off without it.

The only truly important/valuable/treasured things are living things. Even for a grumpy old tit like myself.
