Well with the TDU done and dusted I'm surprised we don't have one of these!

I only caught the highlights, on 'GCN Racing' channel on YT. My first couple of tries couldn't get sound to play on the total Stage1 & 2 and couldn't find any other places to watch it, Highlights where ok so watched them. Still great coverage & commentary. Watched the last 50km of Stage 6 for Willunga hill, fantastic racing and really exciting to watch. Worth hunting down even if you don't normally watch the TDU!

Porte took the overall as Impy blew up early on the climb. Bit gutted for him as it was his to lose. Yates riding really well but Porte rides him off his wheel reeling in the breakaway, commentary split earlier if the break would even be caught. Then fantastic ride from Matt Holmes (first year with Lotto) in the breakaway kicks and gets on Portes wheel, gets half dropped, then comes over top of Porte as the climb flattens towards the line to take the stage win. Totally unexpected and fantastic to see! His interview after is pretty priceless too.

Goes without saying doesn't it?! Really interesting to see some of the battles between him, WvA and VdP. Sure hope we see some without too much dominance over the older classics specialists...

So many of them are heading towards retirement age, so would be really good for a few to get some good solid wins to finish their careers on a high with.

Yeah I loved Andorra when we went (2015?16?) snowboarding. It's about the only place I've been and seen roads (in the winter) and just thought 'I wish I had my bike here'. Didn't even think that in Gran Canaria, because the roads into the mountains felt quite rough, but thinking now of the views and how quiet it was... Perfect gravel bike territory!

CX hasn't finished yet! 3/3 for the dutch so far, the Elite womens race was fantastic, didn't see the sprint winner coming! The course this year is pretty horrendous save the bank in the middle! Hopefully we'll see a bit of rain overnight and then some great battles in all 3 races tomorrow.

What a result today!
Pidcock you legend

Yep, great ride, that attack was just glorious! Only 22 people finished on same lap!

Amazing ride by Anna Kay in the U23 too! Glad it rained overnight as it actually made the races slightly more interesting and meant if you got held up you could make up time! Shame that Tullett snapped his seatpost on the Saturday as he was potentially looking at a podium, reckon if his race was muddy like Sunday his 4th row start wouldn't have put him so far back and he'd have been up there fighting.

in road news, anyone else seen this for Fuglsang, be a real shame if true, but hardly a shock with Astana....

Incredible acceleration, only 1 of them even tried to go with him. Love the 'It's Brexit' comment! :D

But MvDP in a class of his own. Can't say that was unexpected, especially considering the start he had and that first lap or two. It was almost decided then - he doesn't seem to fade after huge efforts like that, like any other human being!

Shame about Fuglsang's name being dragged through the mud, it always seems to be 1 of the main names cops it in the media this time of year by some leak or media digging.

And he got dropped and finished 4+ minutes back. Hoping Pidcock, WvA, MvdP will be having some proper battles next year. Pidcock has the skills, Wout has the power, but can they both improve enough to match MvdP.

Only 3 and a bit weeks until Omloop!

Did anyone see the Bernal crash? How he came away with just some scrapes I don't know!

Not sure I understand what it implies, might need spelling out to me. Is that saying Fuglsang is wearing non standard kit to disguise himself so that he can continue to ride with Ferrari?

That was the beginning of last year so not like there haven’t been rumours floating around but, yeah, you’re right. There’s a long tradition of riders wearing non team kit while they get motorpaced round Monaco by il Dottore.

It’s crap based on Chinese whispers. Where is the source for this, it’s based on an incomplete report undertake by a PI which wasn’t good enough to bring any proceedings.

Why would you be so blatent to undertake motorpacing in an area so known for cyclists.

Is Ferrari some kind of worlds greatest motorpacer that he would have to ride the bike himself.

He’s taking every other precaution to avoid being caught (if it is going on) that doing so would just be silly and insulting.

Sure Astana are more on the dodgy end of the spectrum, but you can point at any team and they have plenty of ghosts in their closet.

Someone’s seen Fugslang have a great season, with a guy who looks like Ferrari and it’s gone total internet witch hunt nuts.
