When has Trump ever accepted advice from his advisers? If they don't 'advise' what he has already decided they get fired.

It appears that way from many reports. Any idea why that might be?

I suspect we can both imagine several possible normal correct reasons for not keeping someone around as a supplier, service-provider, employee, etc.

By "etc", I also mean to include professional advisor (including domain expert), and friend.

Like not a few, I have justifiably 'fired' folk in each category. Perhaps you have too.

/ I will continue briefly here, since I posted the above hours ago./

To limit my above opinion:

I for one have correctly fired positively competent people and suppliers. They were neither negligent nor incompetent in their domain knowledge.

In some cases, their expertise though adequate enough, was not communicated in a way suited to my perhaps more unique (statistically less common) particular communication style needs and interests. These matters are fixed and neurobiological. It was worth neithers time, and certainly not mine to teach, or translate. In fact, they would have been quite hard put without training to do so.

In others, little of their knowledge was needed, and they had quite naturally not considered other variables which were beyond their domain / field of expertise, which were more determinative of the decisions to be made.

This latter factor diminished their ability to be as practical and relevant to my interests as perhaps 99% (or perhaps every other) of their customers need and find them in fact to ordinarily be. There is no fault in them arising, nor need be put. Circumstances alter cases.

In other cases. their knowledge can be adequate but already known (already surmised, easily deduced), or subsumed by our own prior knowledge and experience. Or just irrelevant now to a changed direction of development.

You can imagine others perhaps. Whether you need to manage suppliers to a business, family, or a state, the above are some common, and some less common, reasons why you, I or another may require to deal differently even with highly domain-knowledge competent suppliers and advisors.

Obviously, I can only speak based on my experience. And the objectively verifiable observation that I am certainly not unique in being the only person who does, and did so.

Because he's a narcissist who has had the money and position of power for so long that he's never had to listen to advice and always had someone else to blame when things invariably go wrong, whilst having the money to ensure he's not the one hurt by his failures?

On another note all 4 of the prosecutors on the Roger Stone case have turned in their resignation after it appears that Barr (or someone simarly high up) stepped in and changed the sentencing recommendations to be far more lenient that is ever normally seen (remember Stone was threatening witnesses during the trial).
From what I understand it's virtually unheard of for the DOJ to overrule it's own prosecutors sentencing suggestions in a case, certainly to lower them in a major one.

lol, was RxR part of the Trump impeachment defense team? The man (Trump) is clearly mentally aberrant and to justify his actions is bizarre to any normal thinking person. He is a despot who has surrounded himself with gangsters who are obliged to tow the line - his line. There is no free thinking in the Republican party any more, disagreement is not allowed. So much for 'draining the swamp', it's deeper than it ever was. Makes you wonder what his end game is because unless he intends to do a Putin and make himself Life President it's all going to catch up with him and his cronies eventually.

And now watch Senators, Congresspeople, Fox and the rest of the right wing media, the WH/administration and the rest of the lackeys defend this highly controversial and unheard of intervention.

Trump's tweet alone could be seen as a directive.

I did waffle on a bit. And frankly, there is an election campaign under way over there. I've no intention of meddling (intruding) in someone else's legitimate democracy contest

My main interest is when someone is being most criticised for reasons that in part are not well understood, imo. I usually take an interest when that kind of event occurs, by inclination and training. It isn't practically possible to be of much aid in such a situation of the current kind, obviously.

You might recall I had the same attitude when a prince was particularly slighted in another earlier thread, for the same reason.

It is standard (high school) knowledge that if you put good ingredients (inputs) into a process and get undesired results (output) the fault is in the process, not the input. Agreed?

Yes, that makes sense. Although it won't to those here that are blinkered and lack common sense.
