Call of Duty: Warzone

Hmm, seems ok so far. Came 2nd first game, got a self revive right at the end, took out two of the last squad and stopped to revive a mate, got taken out. :p Shouldn't have bothered reviving.
 
I won with the wife on our second go, I think I like it. Blackout, I played to death and it's easy to compare the too, I'm a bit disappointed with the graphics although I imagine they had to sacrifice something for the size of the map/players.

I like the idea of the 1vs1 to get back in, good idea that!

It needs solos and 4 squads though.
 
Played one game last night, managed to get 1 kill with everyone stuttering on the screen back and forth, died, won the gulag, flew up north and landed on a transmitter tower, got killed by the ladder, turned game off and went to bed.
 
I played Fortnite till about 11 last night and I noticed that the update had finished. So jumped on for a game. Our random team stuck together and looted, then jumped in a truck and headed to zone and we got a few kills on the way. We ended up at the bottom of the Dam and then the zone moved above the Dam with no way to get there without going through the gas and dying. Got 3rd and I got 3 kills on my first and only game so far.

As said above, Gas Masks help you stay in the gas a little longer but not much.

I was also in the Fortnite mindset and was thinking of when I engaged enemy to build up to height to get the advantage.. lol

Has anyone got the "disable crossplay" functionality to actually work? On Xbox you can disable it, but you can't actually join a lobby until you re-enable it.

I'm bad enough at shooters with a controller, let alone playing against keyboard + mouse users.

No it told me the same, but I've not seen it match me against any MKB users.

Played a few games tonight and it's certainly addictive. I like the twists with bounties and the gulag. Only managed to get a 3rd place, for which I was solo most of the game despite redeploying the team.
 
Disabling crossplay only works for normal MP, you need it for Groundwar or Warzone. As this mode isn't a totally separate game then you can't disable it.

It'll prioritise placing you against other pad players but if you have someone with a KBM in your party you'll notice a bigger mix. TBH it doesn't make much difference. I've found the only advantage they clearly have is in the way they are able to move around.
 
I will definitely try this out later on when I'm home. Not played a COD game for a good few years so will most likely get battered but we'll see what it's all about. Nice touch that it's free, too.
 
Not a huge fan of BR games but the fight for a second chance in war zone is brilliant.

Personally I love Plunder. Such a good idea and exciting to play.
 
Nice game I guess, looks good, runs smooth with RTX, BUT... I'm crap, in fact the map is very empty, thought maybe I was the only one in game.

Is this game playable with a controller or does it need mouse/kb.

Controller is fine. Im pretty crap but got a 2nd , 4th and top 10s on a few occasions.

I'm quite liking this mode, helps if you have a good team with comms.
