Do you think the Coronavirus is going to drop or increase GPU prices ?

So we're not being silly we're buying GPU's because not all heroes wear capes!

Transport is going to be pooled if this situation deteriorates, our supply chain is failing due to panic buying and the system being fine tuned to cope with normal supply & demand, with any wastage long since suffed out, in short there's no capacity for surges, to maintain supply hauliers are going to concentrate on food , overnight parcels will soon drop off a cliff (I'm hearing from a few night drivers how quiet such work is currently getting) hauliers will be switching to supporting the supermarkets who currently don't have the trucks or trailers to meet the unprecedented increase in demand, people like DPD won't be carrying for the likes of OC/UK (who's orders I'm afraid are going to drop massively) they will be helping either the supermarket or N.H.S. supply chains.

The pricing of GPU's is going to prove somewhat irrelevant as even if somebody wanted one the logistical supply chain isn't going to be focussed on carrying them for the foreseeable future.

We rely 100% on our logistics supply chain, a huge percentage of HGV drivers are older and generally (I'm a case in point!) in poor health, so the group of people who are needed to keep the country moving are likely to be hit hard by this outbreak to boot.

Despite restrictions, we are continuing to see gaps on shelves despite this being early days , as time goes by the chain itself will start to break through drivers & warehouse staff getting ill or self isolating and we will really see some problems.

I really hope I'm wrong, but from my perspective and insight to the transport industry, I'm really worried that I just may be right.

I've finished my stock take for now. The fridges and pantry currently has enough food for the next 4 months, I don't need to visit a supermarket

Yeah, if you have food & the other necessities in your house, good for you.

..But don't come on here and antagonise others, by bragging about it.

I'm not bragging. I'm just trying to carry on business as normal. I'm not rich I just had some luck. I don't have any food I've had a three week wait and had to come to my mother's or run out because I refused to panic buy.

I'm hopeful I'll even get what I ordered come Monday. I'm autistic so I don't leave the house and if I had to see people panic buying I'd probably go around slapping them as it's everything I hate about life.

My grandparents were part of the war effort, my grandad spent 6 months in a pow camp. So I know all about real hardship and tragedy.

I'm just doing what they did, and carrying on. And oh, I'm the one with real anxiety issues and even I'm staying calm.

Good lad. Life in order of importance.

Mate of mine had some crap luck, and is now stuck at home. Wife didn't start her new job that has been cancelled. So I decided to give him my Titan XP. I packed it all up ready to go to my mother's and the taxi firm cancelled. I panicked, phoned my ma and she said "JUST LEAVE THAT ****** THING THERE" but she didn't understand. I got over OK, and managed to get it brought with me lol.

Women. They just don't understand what is important. :D

Some of us have been buying stuff normally, that's why I only have enough food for the next 4 days.

Good job I don't have to look after a family and I can go for a very long time on little or no food.

People should shop sensibly when it comes to things like food and toilet rolls.
