Do you think the Coronavirus is going to drop or increase GPU prices ?

Was in OC/UK today, bought a 10m network cable, back a few hours later for a 30m one :o - no cash payments - then went into town, anything other than food outlets closed pretty much.....

As I’ve said earlier, GPU prices are going to be the least of anybody’s worries very soon, they could bring out a 3080ti extra fat balls edition for say £500 and nobody is going to give a crap.

People need to wake up to what’s happening and indeed happened to our economy and society, the very basics are going to be the priority, a fancy new GPU just isn’t going to register no matter what the price.

Scary times.

I would find the cash for a 3080ti extra fatballs edition gpu for 500 quid

Couldn't agree more!

Well done. You are a part of the current problem of others going without.
He obviously does not give a crap. He even did not think twice before posting about it. If I did such a thing I would at least have the common sense to keep my mouth shut about it.

Down to my last toilet roll...

Anyone want to swap a pack of loo rolls for a Titan GPU lol.:D
Go speak to Grim5, he has at least 4 months worth, he may swap you a roll or two for a Titan GPU :p

I opened my pack of 32 recently, lucky for me I got it before the craze started :D

And still our hopeless government is allowing free uncontrolled access into the UK from coronavirus hotspots without even any testing! So flights from places such as Iran China or Italy are completely OK.
It is other governments which are stopping flights, not ours.

/me checks which thread he's in.

It appears to have started.
Last week the cheapest 2070S was down to £433. As of now, the cheapest is £470.
So it's just as well that I grabbed the 2070s that I wanted, as it's now increased in price by £70.

If the situation gets worse tough and people start to lose jobs or go on unpaid leave, those prices will soon start crashing down as the cards start to gather dust on shelves :p

Still won't buy it, bring on the 3070 already I say :D
