My friend ordered all the parts of his new build from here. Thanks to the people who helped. He decided to upgrade a few parts of the build such as the GPU and he told me he built it but it isn't turning on. I have provided his full basket history. Please help

Is he getting no power at all, no lights on the motherboard or fans spinning up?

If you can link some screenshots of his build inside the case it might help.

Also there is no power at all. Nothing is powering at all atm. I have been told they have taken out the GPU to if that helps change anything.

Has he connected the front panel power lead properly?

Tell him to try the screwdriver trick to jump start, it'll help him find out if the front panel leads are properly connected. Video that explains what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuPZlliGqBw

He should really route those cables behind the motherboard where possible, also tell him to move the ram to the second and fourth slots away from the CPU in order to activate dual channel.

Make sure the CPU power connector above the CPU socket has the right lead going into it, it should say CPU Power on the lead, not PCI-E.

I copied and forwarded what you said to him and he told me he and his uncle tried it. He's thinking that his power supply is not enough. He feels kind of lost and worried since he can't get it running. Thanks for all the continued help again.

That power supply delivers way more power than is required.

Chances are there's a mistake somewhere with the build, it's easily done.
By that do you mean something isn't compatible in the build or they have just done a mistake in building it and something isn't wired correctly.

Put the memory modules in the 2nd and 4th slots and see if it works...

Just to be clear, take out the memory module on the left (first slot) and put it in the last slot on the right!

Ask him to unplug both the front usb and hd audio plugs from the motherboard and try again.

Also, this might be a silly thing to ask, but does the PSU have an on/off switch at the back? If yes, is it switched on?

He it was switched on. I personally believe its either a connection issue due to wiring it wrong or the motherboard may be faulty. He supplied with me more photos.

He told me he has tried everything.

It might not boot without a graphics card - there's no GPU. Might be worth trying single stick of RAM.

Also - when testing it it might be a good idea not to have it on the side of a metal PC case :)

Hey guys are all the leads in the pictures going into the correct places. If necessary can provide more close ups. It may be the issue since we're new to building.
