Live Stream of my Bird Box - Bluetits Nesting - Chicks Hatching Now

We've got a coal tit pair nesting in a dummy alarm box on the back of our house, they're very busy, the brood sounds like they hatched we've been hearing them demanding food for a few days now.

Noticeable change in behaviour today if you've been watching.

The male has been probably 30+ times to feed her today which is a LOT more than normal. She's also not going out for many breaks like she usually does.

No hatching yet. Window starts tomorrow properly.

That seems quick for a second brood! How many are there? Three?

Had another look today, don't like disturbing them.
Think I can see 5 of them!

The first chick has hatched....

If you want to watch the full sequence:
17:51 - we get a clear shot of all 7 eggs intact
18:01 - she starts rustling around a lot and pulls half an egg shell from under her and eats it
18:04 - clear shot of the chick in daylight
18:31 - first feeding

Times are approximate from memory.

The male is bringing them both food now and the chick has been fed about three times. Its a bit reluctant sometimes but does jump up and beg when it hears the male arriving.

Yeah we were just saying that ourselves. Open to suggestions for names :p

Not sure how we will tell them apart until they get a bit bigger and get some feathers though!

(assuming we get more than one - hopefully)

I've never done any to be honest. But I do intend to try and do some highlights at some point.

I've been trying to use premier. Nothing fancy just one clip in to the next.

All of the camera feeds are recording separately to blue iris so I do have all of the film in addition to the YouTube feed.

I prefer DaVinci Resolve to Premier. It’s easier to use imo and the free version is extremely well featured.
