NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

I'm saying they are human beings, with all the failures of human beings. Are you saying they are saints and their word is law?

:p:D

Yeah but people will tell you for sure that a 3070 is a 1080p card so only needs 4GB RAM. :p
Just be grateful it comes with any VRAM at all, and there's only 5 or 6 wood screws. nVidia aren't a charity, for Pete's sake :p It is a great honour to be permitted to buy one. The Roll of Honour will be along soon enough to allow us all to bask in dimly reflected glory, and perhaps the faint smell of leather.

Who said anything about free? and yes I'm deadly serious. When these companies have access to technology that allows them to build ever faster products, products that can also be cheaper to produce?

Why should consumers be happy with these companies pocketing the profit rather than passing it on to the consumers? You think that's greedy? I think you're massively over-simplifying the tech industry and it's customers in one complete miss-hit.

You did, you said you wanted more for less money. Getting more for less means the excess is "free" compared to what you paid previously. Yes you're greedy. You, who probably think you are wonderful, are a greedy person by your own admission.

You state these companies have access to technology that allows them to build ever faster products as if this fell from the sky into their lap. No, they built the technology through damn hard work, why would you expect to get that for nothing? Now sometimes it makes sense to sell the products for less if that brings in more customers. Every company would rather sell 1 million units at £100 profit, than 1,000 units at £1,000 profit. That way the greed of the company works for the consumer.

And if you as a consumer are not happy with these companies pocketing the profit then you have all the power in your own hands - don't buy it.

Going back to my Orchid Righteous 3D Voodoo card, if we expected no increase for no extra cost a Geforce GTX 2080 Ti, would have launched at around about £800,000k. :D

So, yes you are having a laugh.

You have zero knowledge of how the world of business works lol.

I'm not going to continue with you when it took you all of two posts to try and attack my character, rather than my argument. Instant loose for you. You make a lot of assumptions - if I were you I'd work on listening a little more before you do so in the future.

Dude give it a rest my 3600 cost £200 the cpu I brought before that was Intel 4670k which cost roughly the same. Why did I buy the 3600 because i got more performance, never in a million years was I expecting to pay £400 for the privilege.

Nvidia are taking the mick with pricing everyone can see that no need to defend it, it is what it is.

I'm not attacking your character you delicate little flower (see - that's a character attack), I'm saying you are just like everyone else - greedy.
