NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

Let me assess just hoiw much pain my little booty is going to be in here.

Game at 1440p 144hz Gsync, no plans to go bigger resolution this gen. My old warhorse 980ti served me well.

If i jump at 3080 am i likely to be looking at new PSU and CPU also, worried about potential bottlenecking / power consumption.

First gen launch ive actually been hyped in for a looong time. Was considering going for PS5 on launch now my PS5 will go towards my new GPU :D

Might even see clown cards under £600...
Very good. And that's coming from me!
Yeah! Honestly the fact that you can get 2 3080s for the price of a single 3090 and have a £100 to spare - I can't imagine Nvidia are coming out with the level of performance for me to justify doing that.

Anyone noticed both the 3080 and 3090 are dual 8-pin? :D

They aren't, can see the 12 pin in the photos. It must mean the adapter takes a 2x8pin.

Big gap between the 3080 and 3090. Clearly they will fillit with something.

But I not really in the market for a card costing close to £1000 so perhaps the 3080 is the card for me.

Plus I'm at 1400p not 4k so don't need the extra power.
