All prices are here. Better than you think..

Well there goes the second hand market. My wallet is ready, it's been waiting for several months to upgrade the 980TI

I guess the reality is they'll be that price next year when there's stock. I bet shops will inflate them prices because they'll be no stock.

Just
just had a quick look at fleabay and ppl trying to offload their 2080ti cards, loads around the £600-£700 mark, but theres stilkl plenty asking around a grand for their cards, I reckon it'll get worse (cheaper, and the value of these cards is gonna plummet, if not already)

Do we think we'll get a 'Super' version 6-9 months after release like the 2000 series?
id imagine we'll see a 1000-1200 price mark 80ti 8 months from now, just like in the past. most of the 3090 performance with less vram.

Fairly consistent with the past. 3080 to 3090 is a HUGE leap.

I feel like that 3070 will be perpetually out of stock, as will the 3080 maybe. Could be a sign nvidia know those cards will be in competition with AMD hence the excellent pricing. knowing their 3090 is untouchable, and they'll bring the 80ti much later on once AMD show their hand.

Fingers crossed amd do bring competition to the 70/80 so we keep good pricing.

Nvidias features, DLSS2.0 RTX etc are a big pull for them.

DIrect storage to GPU streaming coming is absolutely fantastic, and another big win for AMD gen4 until intel bring it to the market. Means that PS5 wont have such a big advantage. Assuming as it was originally developed for xbox by microsoft that we'll see that with all card vendors.

Super stoked, anyone needing a kidney.

Genuinely surprised by the 3080 price point. Still going to wait to see what AMD bring as presumably nvidia see this as the point where AMD will challenge (and let's face it, there'll be no stock of the 3080 for months!!!).

yeah but can't they still do older DX generations? I'm not wanting to run the latest games on 7, just for the thing to function so I can still use my win7 system when I need to.

TBF,I suspect the MS software driver will work anyway. But until Ampere is released we can't be certain what OSes are supported.

Did you notice where it shows RT performance in graphs (post 60) small print at bottom says RT = RT with DLSS. But the 10 series shown on same graph are without DLSS.
Which to me means it is not a true comparison of performance differential.

So only applies to a very small minority of games.
Very good catch. Looks like the DLSS is going to see a big Nerf w/Turing.

Seems nicely priced and will no doubt find their way into thousands of msfs 2020 upgraders machines!

The 3080 is priced ok but its a joke to label it as their flagship card like they have - 10GB in 2020...? Definitely a downgrade from the 2080 series for many people but I guess gamers wouldn't notice that nVidia quietly removed nVLink on this gen's 80 series so you can no longer get double performance and RAM by adding another GPU. Even the 2070 Super could do that.

Its annoying that nVidia have the 16GB 3070 Ti & 20GB 3080 Ti sitting there but are refusing to release them for god knows how long. If Big Navi falls flat which it probably will, it could be another year before nVidia actually hand out more choice.

When you SLi cards it doesn't use the memory on the second card, so it doesn't double it.
