So just to clear this up cos I can cancel my order for an 850W
my cpu is 3700x, 2 8gb sticks of rgb ram, 1 m2 drive, 2 3'5" drives, and the vega 64 which is going.
My current 650 80gold psu, replace or not lol.

I would have thought they would go for a longer adapter to hide the connection out of site. I'm also surprised that it is split all the way up to the 12 pin connector. Did nobody think this through.
650watt will cover it. Imo it's worth picking up a power reader to plug in to your wall, lot cheaper than a new PSU.
The FE cards are reference. I think most AIB are custom. They arent really custom though are they? I will watch later after work but isnt every single card just a reference board with a different cooler on?
if i get what I want on MM for the 650 I'll stick with the new one, my anxiety will go crazy if i hear any weird noise when gpu is under full load lol650watt will cover it. Imo it's worth picking up a power reader to plug in to your wall, lot cheaper than a new PSU.
If you aren't overclocking you will be well under 650W and more so for the 3070.So just to clear this up cos I can cancel my order for an 850W

The response by gamer1988 made me chuckle. Some people are in for a surprise shortly.I thought this thread told us VRAM was not important??![]()

Do you mean having the connector in the middle?Funnily enough, it's one of the things I don't like about the FE.
That cable system really affects the aesthetics of the card, and not in a good way.
im buying a 3080 though, will it be OK?If you aren't overclocking you will be well under 650W and more so for the 3070.
There must be different versions, 2x8 and 3x8 pin.It was the waterblock company who made the claim all opening AIB cards were reference. Yes they may have fancy coolers on but they are still Nvidia reference boards if that makes sense,.
Obviously later cards like the EVGA FTW will be custom boards.

OMG I thought this was a photoshop but its true! The "Gamer Pink" edition
which hardly if anyone plays?
I dont think you understand at all.
Let me make it crystal clear.
Can you show me a benchmark at 1080p that shows a significant improvement in FPS by using an intel vs AMD.
If not then admit there is no noticable improvements and that i its purely down to GPU unless you are using a very very OLD CPU
Any cpu from the last few years is all perfectly fine for gaming at 1080 or above as its gpu dependant
There must be different versions, 2x8 and 3x8 pin.
Will my 750w psu power a 3080 ? Thinking of upgrading if I don’t need to add anything else
