Hmm I think they can pump out at least something 1.5x 5700XT. The £400+ segment is ripe for the pickings
It's the £200-£300 segment that has had virtually no love at all.

The 5600XT is basically Vega perf for Vega monies, same with the 5500XT and the 580. Same perf, same money.

And a lot of people won't touch AMD esp after lately, they haven't exactly covered themselves in glory re:drivers!
I had 290x bf4 elidion for 500 quid when that came out over 2 years of black screen crash never got fixed after that i wont buy AMD card not after lies following cards that came after and back to Black screen crash problems lol
Rather pay 100 extra for same performance to bv than get black screen crash when progressing on boss in wow again... and wipe cause of it...

Yes I rather liked the 5600XT for some reason, then I compared it to my Vega56 and realised it was its clone just newer really. Better power consumption and probably better marginally at 2k, but the price!! Joking when you could just get a 5600 then mod it.

I had 290x pretty much near release, never black screen, solid card - even put on a NZXT with AIO temps then not above 50c, nice and quiet. Moved onto a Palit 1060, nice card, then onto a Vega 56 black friday sale again no black screen no driver issues...

Apparently, the lead programmer at id Software has said,8GB of VRAM will be low end/entry level for games under 4K.

I went 280X > Fury > Vega 64. Never had any problems with any of them. I prefer the layout of the AMD drivers to the Nvidia suite but never really had problems with either.

Before the 290x I had a 7990, dont recall much bother with that. I had something between that (nvidia) and two 7770's which I messed about with using crossfire. No driver issues that I can recall so apart from the 5070 black screen that I believe, the AMD drivers have been solid. :S

My Vega was good, I mined the £450 cost within a month or two... Of course I should have sold it for £2k at the peak of the madness :D

Good hit mate! Unfortunately if all these new cards are good for mining there will be a struggle to keep them from being bought up in bulk :(
