NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

Anybody else spot the ASUs strix is a dual bios card with an actual switch on the card with one bios marked performance and the other one is marked quiet?

these are going to be noisy and hot cards. Definitely sticking it under water as soon as I can

the 2080ti strix has the same switch and its not a bios switch, its a fan profile switch...

Sony has already announced their exclusive titles will come to PC at some point

They said they would look to bring more exclusives to PC. I'm sure they'll all be older titles and we won't get all of them like console players would have access to.

That said I'll never buy a console (except Nintendo for Mario Kart and Mario Kart only) so I'm happy with whatever ports they send our way no matter how old they are. Of course I hope they do a better job with future ports than the Horizon one.

I think I'll get the FE 3090

Just looking at the dimensions of the MSI 3090 Gaming X Trio and its 335mm long.

The 2080 Ti was a long card at 326mm.

It would foul the reservoir in my Fractal R6.

Do you mean vertical as in the Silverstone FT series or upright as in desktop and HTPC cases? The former is going to be very tricky as it will exhaust hot air just below the CPU cooler. The latter will also be very tricky if an AIO isn't being used.
Late reply, i was actually thinking more in terms of this kind of mount

And in this scenario. (Ignoring the watercooling)

Will be interesting to see how this impacts:

a) Airflow in the case

b) Temps on the board with one fan blowing almost directly onto the motherboard.
