Oh great, Now we have CPU game exclusive features

Cheap move. Not impressed.

No doubt it won't have been cheap for Intel to bribe the devs to do this. It's not really much further away from the famous Intel compiler scam that that they ran for years to cripple AMD cpu's.
This sort of stuff from Intel will be ongoing for at least the next couple of years, as well as claiming they have the best cpu architecture for the future. When off course they have nothing of the sort.

AMD are also doing this, in fact i have it on good authority that if you buy there next CPU due out soon everything will be a lot faster, use less power and cause less heat than an Intel chip.

Utterly disgraceful, making a processor which goes out of its way to humiliate the competition is so not cool.

Does this apply to any Intel CPU that meets the game requirements or just the newer processors?

It would be bonkers if I could run the features on my little 4690K that someone with, for example, a Threadripper couldn't.

Man, what a joke. The difference looks like some arbitrary junk being spawned that follows physics loosely.

The real joke is that for a physics heavy sim, you'd want the extra threads that AMD currently gives you for less money...

I hate when companies do this. It's like VR, making certain games on work on certain VR units. Make it available to everyone then the consumer has a better choice what to go for.

Intel has now realized it can't compete on performance alone and consumers haven't been falling for their BS benchmarks and shilling websites like userbenchmark. So now they're trying to splash cash to try and make some differentiation between them and AMD.

Waiting for someone to spoof an Intel chip and have them work perfectly. Looks just like physx stuff to me anyway /rolleyes

I can't stop laughing... Man, that game is doomed... Times have changed, Intel hasn't. Any game dev/publisher who are willing to worsen the audience experience for no reason at all other than money deserved no money at all. I'm just sorry for the individual who have worked their butt off on this game to see things end like this.
