Lowest 2080ti price - £350

:) I bought a 2080Ti for £700 and it broke a week later. And ASUS Spent a week telling me I have to go through the original retailer. It was all because of my ignorance but.

Well if you guys think this is a bit douchy; what do you think about all these people hoping for a newbie pc gamer/uninformed idiot to come a long and fall for it? They all know their cards are paperweight compared to before. They were screwed over by Nvidia and now they're knowingly trying to do that to other people.

Honestly spreading information doesn't hurt anyone if the prices were actually fair. Only liars are hurt by truth being spread.

Nice grandstanding. Nobody cares what you personally "went through".

Would £400 be a fair price for a gigabyte 2080ti modded with a NZXT G12 and Kraken X62 280mm, been thinking of selling on ebay but i'm not sure how people feel about buying modded cards.

ah it's fine. Some people might care and some people won't. I get nothing out of it either way. If you know any nice perks to fitting in let me know; happy to serve.

I'm willing to sell for £300 if you bundle in a used 3090 in exchange. Final offer. My 2080ti is an absolute Beast of a card, the most powerful Nvidia card in the world that money can buy. Worth every penny.

Eh but realistically GamingGiveaway's 2080Ti Raffle probably has a better chance. I don't think many people are gonna buy tickets for it :D

That's a bit.....douchy.

He's not lying either found a couple of ads on Facebook marketplace warning about buying a 2080Ti :rolleyes:

Bit naughty, now you can even palm them off to unsuspecting suckers :D

2080Ti is a decent GPU no question, it was just sold at a stoopid price it should never have been more than £700 imho

Regardless it definitely has 2nd hand value though, is it right to call out BS pricing in a 2nd hand market? I dunno yeah maybe I'd be tempted at £300 but I respect the seller wouldn't feel that way so...

Caveat emptor, when buying something it's your responsibility to do some research.

This 'information campaign' is a bit off, maybe that's just the way my moral compass points :)

lol the hype train knows no bounds, so now the 3070 is double 2080ti performance? LMAO

The thing is if AMD releases cards with similar performance to 3xxx (and obviously similar or lower price) it will not be long before 2xxx series card prices are squeezed down.

2080ti will be selling for £350 once the 3070 drops, ouch.
I dunno, we are yet to see conclusive benchmarks and the 2080ti has more VRAM. Given people will likely have spent upwards of £800 on the 2080ti I think there will be some who can't bring themselves to sell so cheap, plus that's over £100 differential to the 3070. Factor in limited supply (remember 2080ti isn't that common, and is a very fast card anyway so not all owners will be looking to upgrade). I mean lets say you got a 2080ti, if you want to go 3090 to get a proper bump in speed you'd need like another grand on top of that £350 to upgrade.

I think £400 is a more realistic convergence point, but I'll reserve judgement until we have proper benchmarks.

It's also the original 2080 Ti owner's job to do some research. Anyone who values their hard earned income should know not to bank on an items resale value.

This cavalier attitude of "the 2080 Ti only cost me £400 because I'm guarenteed to get £700 when I sell it" always amazes me. The price you pay is the price receipt.

If I were in the market for a 2080ti I’d call that reasonable. Think it’s still £1 fees so if you’re gonna do it I’d do it sooner rather than later.
