NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

lol I had to go check myself as 160CU would have put it at double the 3080 performance and 80% faster than a 3090!

early Nvidia 3000 series buyers would have been crying worse than 2080ti owners were lol
:D would be some card. People who'd ordered new PSUs for 30X0 cards would be hastily reordering 1200W+ PSUs in preparation :p

at IDLE though. Its what it settles on around 60 seconds into playing a game which is important. That might drop to 1795 for all we know so far.

we dont know what gpu boost 3.0 will do either, the 2080ti's from aib's would boost to around 1900mhz from 1545mhz so if the 3090's are comming in around 1400mhz base with a 1700mhz boost, take into account temp's and if cool enough that 1700mhz will be close to 2ghz+, watercooling any of the 3090 cards should yeild very good results :)

Thats what i need the reviews for to know. The new cards "might" find themselves topping out at 1800mhz , even under water.

Not sure why everyone is so obsessed with 4K gaming, personally I find 3440x1440 Ultrawide a far more immersive experience than retaining the old 16:9 aspect but with a higher res.

Also has the benefit of being far easier to drive than 4K and with high-refresh panels more readily available.

Guess you have never tried a 4k then :p.

1440p is good but something like a 4k oled is on another level clarity and colour wise. I was pretty shocked on rdr2 where it just looked frankly crap on the monitor. Blurry and just really flat.

Even something like god of war on PS4 pro looks far better than anything pc can produce at 1440p on a normal monitor if visuals is what you’re after. Struggles on the framerate side though.

Do miss my old 4k monitor though that was great for rpg games.

Go try 4k gaming!

I only go for corsair or seasonic

Seasonic make Phanteks PSUs... :D And second psu I linked is Corsair lol

Super Flower good brand and build quality also, but would be my last choice of the 3 anyway.

I just didn't understand why you linked a 5 year old refurb Corsair PSU for £330 lol. Just seemed like you lost your marbles. As I linked many better options for less than half the price...
