I think people will always buy PS for the first party games, but unless they come up with something they may miss a lot of third party game sales..........not necessarily a bad thing when you look at Nintendo, but I suspect it's not what Sony would want.

I honestly think it's gonna be Amazon that leak any sort of date as Sony don't wanna tell us **** lol

It would be nuts to be able to buy a game and not play it on release date because the actual console isn't out. I know ubi have said it will be a free upgrade from current gen to next gen / smart delivery type shenanigans but surely they can't advertise a game being out before the actual console you play it on is?

It would be nuts also it was Amazon who listed that ps5 wall grip with date of November 10th too.

Sony hand will be forced now imo, I also think they have to be very clever with the pricing as Microsoft having two SKU will help them

Sony aren't doing a less powerful consol just a discless one so at most I see a £50-£80 difference.

I can't see Sony matching the digital one at £250 like the Series S

Maybe that's why they're eerily quiet today. Quickly changing all their PowerPoint slides with November 2* to the 10th instead since the Xbox announcement. :D

I don't see how sony can justify £500 for a technically inferior (albeit not much) console with nothing even close to the value for money offering of gamepass.

Edit. Maybe I underestimate the power of people sticking to what they know. It's not like I batted an eyelid at either xbox prices because I have no interest in changing.

Sorry, that's not to say EA Play won't be available elsewhere..........just that Xbox have included EA Play in their GamePass subscription at no extra cost.
If you have both an Xbox and PS, then why would you buy FIFA on PS if you already get it under your GP subscription elsewhere?

EA play doesn’t give you the latest releases though does it? FIFA, Madden etc are not available on launch day on EA play.

Exclusives, this is what Sony has going for them, you know they are going to deliver great games.

I am assuming it's just the basic EA Play, though that's quite a large selection to choose from (especially if you're a PC gamer as well)......but if it's the full EA Play, then I believe that includes the newer releases.

I’d be shocked if gamepass included the 90 quid version of EA play.
But your point was who would buy Fifa on ps cos it is in ea play, it isn’t for ages after the release.

If it is EA Play pro they bundle with game pass then I’ll probably buy an Xbox as well as a PS5

I’m also gonna say I think the PS5 will be £349. The ps4 and the PS4 pro both launched at that price and it sits bang in the middle of the two xboxes.
