The easyrider shuffle- Many of you have failed....

People are going to be like 3 weeks without a GPU

You bought a 2080TI on release, You game, You then sell it before the arrival of the new cards....

Yeah, I don't get why some are trying to paint a different picture. This ain't rocket science, we all knew a Nvidia Ampere presentation was coming from some ago. Could have sold it then even at a good price.

According to Psycho Sunny, it only works if you sell your card 1 year before the new cards are released. I think he has failed to understand, can you explain it in simpler terms for him?

Why didn’t you see this coming?

Some of you did, but some of you ,with names I respect, are scrambling about trying to shift your 1080ti, 2080s and 2080ti cards like school kids chasing a football ! :D

:D

You all know about the easyrider shuffle! :p

hey matey, nice to see you are back with another shuffle.

Looking at the MM/Flea pricing it looks like peeps have not fully realised how fast the 3070 reference is gonna be. 2080ti Custom depreciation is gonna be brutal lol

I want a 16GB card so will be on hold for the AMD unless i grab an Nvidia card to tinker with, the 5700XT has been excellent so far, might wait to see what she does in cyberpunk.

He sold his card in 2019.

Now he's come on here to brag about the fact he saved himself £100 by doing so.

He created this topic and I'm painting his picture he didn't sell his card 3 weeks ago. He sold it a year ago and he's bragging about saving £100 a complete joke.

:p

The thread is clearly angled towards 2000 series owners....If you have a 1080ti for example and shuffled last week...The deprecation has already happened on the card.

However if you had a 2080ti and sold it before the news of the 3000 series cards then you are quids in and have shuffled the easy way :D

Yeah, he failed at his own game, does not mean the game does not work though. I have been doing it even before him and it works very well. I have spent less money overall than someone buying a 2080Ti and selling it recently and that’s over a 20 year period. A few of the GPU’s I did actually make profit too, at least £300 due to prices going up when mining took of :D

I didn't buy a 2080ti...so I didn't shuffle this time around...Yeah I sold the 1080ti and downgraded but Its not unusual for me not to game for a year...

I dont game in summer...Only winter and last year after I sold the 1080ti the only game I played was BL3....

I'll buy a 3080 and the only game i'll play on it probably Cyberpunk....I have a recording studio and most of my time is composing music\ video editing...and just recently got into orchestration..

Gaming, I can take it or leave it...TBH....some people see it as a must...I get bored and there has been no compelling games of late....

But as I said, If you bought a 2080ti at launch and got nearly 2 years out of it and sold it before the 3000 series news dropped...then you did the shuffle correctly....The concept is very simple and I struggle to understand why some people dont get it :p

I had 5 mining rigs and I sold all my gpus bar one I kept for gaming when they like doubled in price. Made a killing. Not only off the mining but the gpus too. It was a double win. The gpu i kept I only lost £120 on over the 2 or so years I used it. Again I sold it whilst it was worth decent money and got a 2070 super on Black Friday for a great price.

The op is trying to tech us to suck eggs.

I just sold my mobile phone for £150 I paid £180 for it over a year ago. At least I don't lie about its age or use or ownership when I sell my goods unlike some ;)

He gave up responding to you seems :p

I'm good, bought my 2080 aorus xtreme wb for £500 with 4 year warranty and sold it for £400 after 9 months use. I'm okay with that haha

Easy, been on about the shuffle as far back as I remember around 8800 I think, where he used to go through a lot more cards and cpu's than he does now, he seems to get people going haha.
