Please note , thats Doom at Ultra Nightmare - and the Radeon 7 gets 107 fps average oO
Also note that at 4k the 2080 runs out of VRAM and gets beaten by a 1080Ti.

Not heard exact timings. Some said midnight but it’d have to be a regional/timed launch which don’t think been done before.
Could be same as partner cards, 2pm? Would be great if anyone had anything concrete.
All cards are lemons in the eyes of people who have waited for the performance.
1080Ti has lost a lot of value also. I sold mine at 2080Ti launch for £650. Now it’s worth what £200-250?
Ti cost me £1000. Now worth £400? Lost £600. I’d have lost £400-450 if I kept the 1080Ti instead so not bad for 2 years usage.
Also note that at 4k the 2080 runs out of VRAM and gets beaten by a 1080Ti.
<snip>
Even at £1000, the 2080Ti offered worse price/performance than the 1080Ti as it was around 40% more expensive but only 30-35% faster.
That's a lemon in my books.
The 2080Ti wasn't a bad card per se, it was just way way way too expensive.
After using 24gb cards for a couple of years it is very rare to see anything get close to 10gb.
The most I have manged to use on some bench maxed out at 8k was about 16gb, this is not a real life situation.

Not sure of the credibility, but this is all I've seen so far
As for 8k, the 3090 claims it's for 8k gaming but when Nvidia says that they mean DLSS so not native 8k so vram requirements at DLSS 8k May be just like normal 4K
On the topic of pcie 4.0 would it work over a pcie riser cable???
Think I have just come to my senses. I don't even need a 3080 right now with the MSi 2070 Super that I am using and an Asus XG279Q monitor. I think I am suffering from Fomo for real so I am gonna sit this one out after all and re-evaluate when the Supers arrive.
I already get over 100 fps in most games I play with G-sync too. I may use the money for a HP G2 or maybe a PS5 instead. I just got to keep cool next week and stay away from here.![]()

Some people with the 16gb Radeon vii were saying they had some games use to
