NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

Just do not buy an Asus strix mouse! Windows 10 auto installs this hideous armoury crate with about 5 service exe’s with 2500 files! good mouse but ironically I got rid of it due to my loathing for there shoddy software. The person who wrote it should be ejected into space.
O man im avoiding Asus standalone software they are horrible. Not installed any of theirs MB extra software in last 3 ryzen boards :D

Not happening have You even watched that video. NV will keeb best ones for themselfes and limit the stock to keep price from falling down. SMART Reminds me when I had 290x BF4 limited edition wtith 98% ASIC well nice card shame drivers ware ****** and black screened for whole tiome of me owning it lol.

It's what I was just saying in another post about stock, OCUK said initially there was a bigger allocation this time, to me that says lots of stock on release and yet now the media is putting everyone into a panick scenario to make them think there's a short supply and demand is big, this is what Nvidia wants consumers to think to buy buy buy, I've no doubt they are holding back boards but not for the reason some people think about keeping the best yields for themselves more like to create a deliberate shortage so prices increase, great marketing from Nvidia that's all to be said.

Mb vendor apps are a sin. Gigabytes rgb software just hangs. It’s all garb. I just use Argus fan controller and NO vendor software. Windows 10 is bad enough but have to have it. I’m not impressed with W10 2004 update. Loads of driver crash issues.

Based on previous years, did Nvidia release cards on their website for preorder at 12am or was it just random?
I actually asked em that no answer anyone knows ??

Less grunt, less memory bandwidth, a lot less RT and DLSS performance, in most cases less warranty, not brand new, no free game, no free software, no HDMI 2.1, need to faff about modding, won’t get as much optimisation on new games from drivers, not new and shiny...

I probably missed some. But surely the above is worth £200 extra? People paid a lot more to go 2080 over a 2070. Lol. Yeah, I would not call a second hand 2080Ti at £449 a bargain, £349, then yes.
When the 3080s jump up to £800+ in the inevitable price gouging then a 2080ti for 450 will seem like a bargain but by then I doubt you will be able to pick one up at that price as they will likely be going for £600+.

Anyone knows what model is that Galax 3080 trislot?
Imho it's one of the coolest looking so far.
Yet nowhere to be found (on their site).
They are all mining Ethereum already mate in chinese mines so they ware not bothered putting it on site :D for Me FE looks best so far. If Anything Ill get inno3D they tended to least restrictive biosses and tahts what im after so i can pump as much POWER in to GPU would love to be able getting tdp limit to 500W. Got cooling to do it just need software option. Not feeling like soldering around GPU like i did on 2000s to get more juice in to my 24/7 card :D

@Salty22 Why prices are same just go with cooler you like looking most :D Everuone always thinks about warranty ect. Not like i ever had GPU die even with Hardware mods and mining on things 24/7. Only GPU that died on me was 7950 2 hours after i got it home... Slipped Screwdriver and created massive scratch messing up PCB.
That day when Brand new GPU gets killed even before You put it in PC had new one next day and not messed up taking cooler off hahaha.

PC gamers are a funny bunch indeed.

PC gamer: I can't afford a 4k screen

Also PC gamer: I want two 3090's thanks

Once again PC gamer: How do I fix the CPU bottleneck in my 720p screen
Yup Who would buy 3080 to play at 1080p ?? very limited customer base some crazy CSgo 400pfs guys i guess ??
Thats why I went 4k monitor over 1440p 2 years ago with way my eyesight is i trully cant see benefit of 100fps over 60fps had both next to each other could not tell difference... But thats gonna be personal thing and I dont play fast paced multi player games at all anymore. So preffer Nicer looking graphics over fps. Thats why I had 3d monitor i played everything on for eyars before this one till it broke QQ Still would take good 3D over 4k but ehhh cant get any :(

Guys, what exactly would you do in this situation, or does anyone have any ideas?

I sold my 2070 super a few days ago. Buyer paid and instantly sent me a message asking me to post to alternative address (dodgy - it also had two street names). I reply saying I can only send to address on PayPal and he says no problem I understand. I left it a couple of days waiting for an email from PayPal or eBay advising it’s a dodgy transaction. This morning as no email arrived I withdrew the money and go to post it. When searching for the postcode it comes up with a totally different address. I message him and he says he asked for the alternative address as that’s his dads and he said it’s fine to post to the address on PayPal. I said I can’t as that postcode links to an address that it totally different. He half implied he used to live at the old address but not now. He has asked me to refund and he remakes the payment using the new address after he updates his PayPal.

is this some sort of elaborate scam I am now aware of? I hate ebay.

You should always post to the address that eBay / Paypal tells you to as a way of backing yourself up. Although that being said, as someone that has used eBay for years, I can tell you with some certainty that they will always side with the buyer in any kind of dispute, so it's not hard to scam someone even if they weren't being dodgy.

I don’t want one though, I want a 3080 ;)

2080Ti is yesterday’s news, no longer desirable or shiny for me :p
