** NVIDIA RTX 30 SERIES (3090 / 3080 / 3070) NOW ONLINE AT OcUK **

Perhaps add only taking money when ready to ship too.

I have had the same crap from HP with the Reverb G2. UK retailer leaked 15th September for release, so i gave them £500+ in early July. And now? Still no date for release. I have handed out over £1100 for items that no one knows when they will ship. I feel dumb accepting this crap....but here I am, accepting it again. If I know it's loooong wait, I'll get a refund....which is one of the reasons they wont tell us I suspect.

Pre-ordered my Reverb G2 from Amazon Spain a week before they bumped the price by 100 euro no monies taken yet and still showing est delivery 4-6 october

I ordered from the US with my order saying the cost is £635.06($752.96) but my account was charged $850.28(£717.14). Has anyone had a similar issue? I just want to know where this extra cost came from and if customer service would adjust this for me.

I ordered the Palit GeForce RTX 3080 Gaming Pro 10GB GDDR6X PCI-Express Graphics Card when it said there were 11 units in stock and after I had checked out it said there were still 2 left showing the same price that was shown for my initial checkout.

Ouch deposit for import fees you might get done at both ends too as its an estimate usually you might/will? get hit for vat on import too.

I think the best bet for people now is to regularly check vendors that don't take pre orders EVGA sell directly same with nvidia and no pre orders which keeps it fair

I placed an order via Paypal. I just need to confirm if my Invoice Number is the same as my Order number. I only ever recieved a confirmation email from Paypal but not Overclockers. According to the email, I placed the order around 5:23 PM EDT / 10:23PM BST Thursday evening. I am holding on to my order for the time being but if things don't work out I'll need my order number to possibly cancel.

I understand you guys are swamped and there is some logistical issues. I hope things all work out in the end despite the frustration from a lot of folks in how the RTX 3080 launch was handled. I suppose outside of being patient there is very else can be done at the moment.

And now to top it off i had the Asus TUF in the basket go to checkout and the payment declined so just spoke to bank and said try it again but no its gone up to £698 whilst in the same basket ???? What gives
Had that crap happen to me as well, jumped up £50 going to checkout compared to basket. Got the cheek to drop it down £10 later last night so increase was only £40 not the £50 we got stung for even though no cards till monday.

Why is this site going down all the time? 3080 launch was yesterday guys... Now that the dust has settled and you sent out all available stock, can your customers get info on what queue position everyone's on?

I would like to make an informed decision about keeping my pre order or not.

Thanks!

This is what they NEED to do for transparancy. Otherwise they're just holding people's money hostage indefinitely.

It went down 20 mins after I posted as a joke that the amount of posts here is going to crash the site again lol (will keep my mouth shut in future)

Unless the cards are sold by telephone only then this
will be an ongoing issue with 3000rtx series and big navi Script bots hit every supplier including nvidia so blocking them is not going to happen Responsible outlets going through sales pre shipping are cancelling the obvious fake multiple bot buys

As with others, would like an idea of where abouts my order lies in the grand scheme of things. Got my order in at 14:05 but is the first 10% of orders, first 50%?

Figured I'd finally sign up to the forum instead of lurking as it looks like I'm in this for the long haul with my preorder

Gigabyte has confirmed a 20gb 3080! Maybe I will wait lol

i recon that ill be around £1000, the 3090 3d mark scores have leaked at it around 19% faster than the 3080, so for double the cost you get 20% extra grunt, the 3080 20g card will be higly desirable when it lands :), lol have to laugh at all who bought the 10gb card :)

Imho £650 for a card that I'll upgrade when the 4000 series arrives isn't that bad. I can't imagine many games arriving in that time that'll require >10gb memory. Only case for buying one of those is if you plan to ride it out until the 5000 series. The 3080 makes plenty of sense to me in my predicament. More affordable, less depreciation and I can enjoy all the upcoming games as they're meant to be played.

I also would like some info with this. If the money is going to be held then I need to know where in the que I would be in or a ballpark idea of when I would have my card shipped. I don't wanna miss out on a chance to get one elsewhere sooner if I am in the back of the que and not expected to receive one for months. I think this info is needed.

Yeah, besides Steve over at Gamer's Nexus in one of the more recent videos has stressed the issue that VRAM allocation in a game is not the same thing as actual VRAM usage. So just because you have ton of ram on your video card, any given game will allocate as much as possibly can in reserve, which isn't indicator if actually needs that much or not.

I’m happy with my 3080 10Gb pre order card. The reviews say it’s good, and I can just about afford it. I can’t afford/justify £1000 for a small increase in performance. I don’t own a 4K monitor nor do I plan on getting one and my 1440P is great, and so the vanilla 3080 is overkill for 1440 anyway so I don’t regret ordering the 10Gb version.

I think the MSRP will be $899, an extra $200 over the 10GB version. So UK price will likely be in the £850-1000 region.
