it also blows my mind how people here are keeping their pre-orders (with absolutely no suggestion as to when they'll be available) out of "fear of losing their place in the line". this is classic mental manipulation tactics. get your refund and just re-order when they become more widely available in the next few months. better to have the £700 in your pocket that oc's.

Not really cause got fewx more than 700 in pocket that just sitts in bank acocunt. Can sit there till 2021 wont make diffeernce not like id spend it on anything else.
 
Another thing we now have to factor into stock is the planet is due the second wave of this C19 crap, which could bring production, deliveries to a halt, plus there are some Chinese holidays coming up so that is another week of stop production, then you got Buddhist holidays coming up.... oh geez.... I am depressing myself hahahahha

Why ?? We are in lockdown We got nothing better to do than calculate estimated order number. Image sitting home for 6 months and.... Sitting more cause there is no places to go out to anyway.... My day is super exciting ill go do small jogg then will get myself hjigh as kite cause got No one to visit or spend freeaking time with cause of the god damn lockdown as all mates i can visit are in other cities.. Literary been out of home to see someone 4 times since MARCH. Thank god im back at work at lest i get tio see any people...
And waiting for my MIR referral letter god knows for how long... while getting worse GOD

It's an eye opener tbh, brought many characters out of the woodwork and into the light.

Can clearly see a generational shift in the attitude, common sense and mentality in a large portion of those complaining. I see dark times ahead this Winter, as the virus and lockdown actions take a irreversible toll on the economy, value of the £ (and other currencies), when you consider how this large group of sheep will react.

What annoying me is i also ordered a lancool mesh 2 case from watercooling website 13 days ago when they said they had 10+ in stock! I STILL have yet to receive it. WHat is up with these companies lying to us????

Ive spent £1000 in last few weeks and have **** all to show for it
 
It's only a discussion though, I'm sure we're just getting on with life as normal.

No offence to those who are a jibbering wreck in the corner of your bedroom :D

This is for a EVGA card so I`m unsure on stock plans for them, seems that they have been removed from site as a pre order too...

If calculations are correct I am early in line numbers wise...

Fingers crossed EVGA supply the cards!!!

I'm also watching the EVGA cards as I need the 2.2 slot width, but frankly I'm not all that hopeful we will see them any time soon.

If there was even a hint of a date they would be on Pre-Order...

Is everyone expecting the 3070 launch to be the same? Or for stock to have sorted itself out by then/less interest as it?

Im tempted to just try get one of those to use in the interim (and for Cyberpunk release) until the 3080 stock sorts itself out - currently on a 2070 Super.

I dont really need a 3080 if Im honest as run 1440p but do have a 240hz monitor so do want as many fps as possible which is why I want a 3080 in first place, but dont mind a 3070 in the meantime if stock permits.
 
Cancelled my pre order with a competitor. More than happy to wait now for stock/and to come in the next few months.

Must say I did enjoy the hype and scrambling to get one yesterday lol

I'm just going to have to slum it with my 980's for a while longer. Still, we'll get to see what else hits the market, I keep seeing references to higher memory cards and then there's AMD's offerings soon to be announced.

I was eyeing ip the 3090 and stayed away from the 3080 (not that I would gave even got one anyway)

I don't think I'll have a chance at this 3090 too seeing how things went, might just have to get a cheap gpu to 'rider' me over
 
This bots buying cards is a cover story, even a script cant buy cards at the speed of light because u still have to navigate several pages to the cart and the bots would still suffer coping with the slow down of the site. People showed videos online while on the Nivida store refreshing at said time then immediately states out of stock. I believe there were little to no stock of the FE version, the people u see online selling cards at extortionate prices do not even have the card themselves, look at the POST date, they are relying on getting the card in time and even they are being trolled on Ebay with fake bids lol. Nvidia did this to inflate the price, they first reel u in with the price tag and then inflate it lol. They have sent all necessary parts to their partner cards, the same parts they would have used for the FE version and offered them $50 back for the first month. Once the month is over the FE cards will probably begin to see some light production.... (conspiracy, probably, but also probably true)
