UPDATE FOR FORUM MEMBERS - TO INCREASE CHANCES OF GETTING ONE ON LAUNCH DAY!

The following cards are in stock right now and shall be available to order around 14:00 today, quantities are limited and expected to sell out straight away, GOOD LUCK!

- Gigabyte Eagle
- Gigabyte Gaming
- Asus TUF
- Palit Gaming Pro
- Palit Gaming Pro OC
- Zotac Trinity

Stock arriving over next few days:
- MSI Ventus
- MSI Trio
- Asus TUF
- Palit Gaming Pro
- Gigabyte Eagle
- Gigabyte Gaming
- Zotac Trinity

The numbers incoming are limited, as such the majority will probably be waiting until October to receive a card, as demand at launch will seriously out strip supply this month.

Unfortunately hitting MSRP has proven tough, the MSRP's were set when the pound was 1.33-1.34 this can easily be confirmed by checking charts, and stock has been arriving at OcUK purchased at rates of 1.27-1.29 as such MSRP's are a real struggle. Brands are working with us to allow us to hit MSRP, but unless the pound recovers back to 1.33-1.34 levels then the prices will go up by approximately £30-£40 a card, so do be warned, pre-ordering will save you money but the window of opportunity to do so shall be slim, potentially minutes at 14:00

October shipments are looking much more plentiful, plus hopefully Brexit discussions will find a positive outcome and thus MSRP's shall be met again but unfortunately I cannot predict where the pound shall be in a weeks or months time it could get better and thus prices go back to MSRP (1.33-1.34) or it stays where it is now and prices remain higher or it gets worse.......

Be patient, we do expect huge demand come 14:00 and I realise that many of you won't be getting a card tomorrow so we ask for you to be patient please as we shall be working hard to secure as much more future allocation as possible to meet demand.

NVIDIA have a truly incredible product and you also get the FREE Watch Dogs and GeForce NOW promotion when buying from OcUK also.

This is a heads up for OcUK forum members only, don't post it on other websites it is to give you guys better odds of getting one on release day.

Less than one hour and counting.

Also we have left all cards listed as Pre-Order, even the in stock cards, this is simply again to give forum members a better chance but also because we feel as our website updates every 60s and due to cache can take longer it will help avoid disappointment from customers placing orders for cards showing in stock or 10+ when the stock actually sold out whilst they were ordering but due to the 60s cycle or website cache the customer was unaware.

As such OcUK will not display any cards in stock, even though we have stock on above lines. :)

BROWSE ALL 3080 SERIES!

Evening guys

Totally crazy day, we are working hard to download orders and keep site online and forums.
We will have a better picture tomorrow and shall give you an update tomorrow morning, so please wait until then as I shall be speaking with board partners and NVIDIA first thing.

If you could give us a rough timeline on whether orders will be fulfilled that would be excellent. Placed an order just now and i expect to be waiting a little while but a more definitive answer would be nice.

Hopefully in the morning when board partners will hopefully have next weeks and the week after shipment detail and quantities available but won't know more until the morning and will truly know the true size of the order volume.

Can you confirm there was no mountain or Fort of boxes because you didn't have stock or enough to build anything of substance, rather than the nvidia won't allow us spiel :p

Quite a few orders shipped out today, more shall ship tomorrow, we just cannot disclose numbers, more stock will arrive next week also.

Well quite a few late nights would be a week's worth, so guessing your "quite a few" is 7-9 cards, say's it all really :p

Shipped a lot more than that today alone for delivery tomorrow. One forum member already has posted his card up and even fitted a water block and several others confirming shipments :)

I have to say, as a consumer I am a little concerned about how this whole thing has transpired today, even since I made my post around 30 mins ago about how when I ordered the ASUS TUF it said the ETA was 21st September but other sites have restock as 30th of October, right after that post the page was changed on the Asus to just "preorder" on here...

Also, taking money for the preorder means they have 30 days to deliver or they are breaking the law under distance selling, will see what happens tomorrow but the lack of communication is worrying.

The pre order dates were removed this afternoon but our site and IT has being under heavy strain resulting in certain parts of site not updating as quick as normal and is also having some glitches which seemed ironed out now and hopefully by morning all be sorted.

But I removed all dates around 16:00 today and it’s taken hours to update, IT being working on it and still are I believe.

He went to the shop and got it, so that's one then. Great. Or did you drive him back to his front door to take a break from fiddling with the prices? I guess that's a delivery.

Im sure plenty people be posting up tomorrow about recieving their deliveries.

This post made it clear prices would go up within minutes of launch and the prices did go up as suggested and most of the cards which were £650 are now £680-£690 a couple of above this but all prices still remain competitive with competitors who also moved prices up too because of the exact same situation as explained.

So what you're saying is, when I ordered the card and it said "ETA 21st of September" it was inaccurate at the time I ordered and this inaccuracy is due to parts of the site not updating as quick as normal?

yes the site was down so it was not updating properly and we won’t know more until tomorrow we have some cards due tomorrow and more next week so depending when you ordered eta may still be met

Gibbo now uses US timezones.

I've being posting updates all morning. You just need to look in the other threads.

We are still collating information and setting up a process so customers can easily cancel if they wish to do so as the wait is going to be quite long.
Something more official will be posted later but in short demand is vastly beyond any prediction and supply not enough and were now working with each board partner to try and get shipping schedule and quantities going into October, November and December which we are still waiting on.

The information was requested at 5am UK time, we are still awaiting feedback from some and there has been many phone calls this morning but in short nobody really had the answer this morning as I guess the only people who truly know output is the factories which the local representatives and board partners do not have right now going into October.

To make matters worse it is Golden Week in Asia 4th-9th October which will cause further delays on production.

Are you going to do a similar thread for the 3090 @Gibbo?

The focus right now is the 3080 issue which the team is working on now hard and I am trying to secure as much stock as possible.

Right now we do not even know what is gonna happen with 3090 and 3070 launches, we kind of cannot have a repeat of this again.
We have also updated our prices on those we won't be offering any at MSRP due to simply risk making zero money or losing money, also the simple fact trying to give people the chance to get one at MSRP caused way more issues and backlash when we were trying to help out. I guess if demand had been high but normal, website functioned then it would have worked better but the demand was simply vastly beyond any prediction, we had resources in place to cope as if it was a Black Friday even but double the size, however demand was way beyond and hence the whole website slowed down causing many to have a poor experience.

We can only apologise for that, now just be patient please, once we get all confirmed an official update will be posted, I am pushing very hard for this to be today, but remember OcUK is part of a very large group and of course we want to publish a group wide statement as sales are of course insane at every entity.

"Hi there

Speaking to board partners, September shipments shall be small, so far:
- Today a small batch of MSI arrived, all orders have shipped out."

So am I reading that all MSI orders have been shipped out, or all of the small batch has already been shipped out but this doesn't cover all MSI orders?

All the MSI cards we got, were shipped this morning which was not many and we sold thousands of MSI cards.

I can wait I just want to know a rough estimate for someone like me who bought the Gigabyte Eagle at 5PM yesterday.

This is a guess but I think anyone after 14:05 won't see a card in September, those before 15:00 maybe October but until we get shipment data for October we are in the dark, that information is requested but it seems it won't be available to the graphics card manufacturers until end of this month.

Is there any way to tell your place in the pre order queue? To the nearest 100 even?
Also I was charged £300 more than the two cards I ordered. Will I need to contact to fix this?

There was only a set amount at MSRP, once the amount had sold the price was increased, which happened nationwide.

A small batch could be 8 or 8000

Why isn't there any more clarity regarding this?

Less than 50 is small, more than 50 is average, more than 100 is big and more than 1000 is a dream.

So I will use less, average, big and a dream to help give people an idea but were not allowed to post exact numbers.

Thank you for the clarification. I'll keep the order in and wait and see then! Was a lowly 15:30 here so I'm not holding much breath, guess it means I can gauge between a MSRP 3080 and a 6900XT when that comes out now!

Exactly you can request the refund at any time and there is now a specific address for doing so, which is in the sticky at the top of the section.

What does that matter when even OCUK do not know how much stock is going to be arriving over the next few months? You could be 20th in the queue, but if they dont get 20 cards until December than the date is still December.

Also you will likely find that your item went up whilst in the basket and you did not realise, the £300 is not a mistake that was the price of the item(s) you paid for.

This the price increase is not OcUK targeting specific individuals it is just between you starting and finishing the order the web price had changed, that is why we have setup the easy refund option.
I did warn the MSRP was for a limited quantity and would likely last minutes. Just demand was way beyond expectation and website crashed as did most competitor websites and at same time all competitors also increase pricing too.

Thanks for the update Gibbo but I do not feel it answers the expectations which were given yesterday by yourself.

You strongly indicated that there was already stock for the Zotac 3080 and there was more coming today to service purchases. Your post today seems to indicate that is not the case. In addition, I believe it is only fair that each person who ordered is given an indication of where they are in the waiting list so they can fairly determine whether it is worth waiting it out or not.

We had Zotac in stock and at time of making my post one batch of Zotac had come in, by the end of the day the second batch had come in, but the amount was still small and they all shipped yesterday and today, you can see proof of this in other forum threads here of people posting pictures of their Zotac deliveries.

The simple fact is my order volumes are in the 1000's, but the deliveries are very small. The supply is not remotely close to demand.

As I managed to get my order through on the asus tuf while your website displayed eta 21st of sept does this mean I’ll get one of these that are due in early next week? If not I would need to cancel to free funds to have a pop at the 3090fe

If you did not manage to order within five minutes of launch I would cancel using the instructions in the sticky thread at top of this forum.

@Gibbo

If I've ordered two cards (MSI + Zotac), will they ship as arrived into stock or will be held to ship together? (So potentially waiting until stock has fully normalised)

Ordered myself + partner a card and thinking its been a rookie mistake now.

I'd call sales/ CS and request they split into two separate orders.
