FTW Ultras are always the last cards by EVGA (except for kingpin) to come to market and they dont make many of them and concentrate on getting the lesser models out of the door.

There are many people on here who had to wait more than 90 days for their FTW ultra cards last time and that wasnt anything like the frenzied demand we have this time,

The main thing I am gutted about is the free game and years subscription.

By lesser cards... Do you mean like the EVGA BLACK "cheaper" card? Like the one that I ordered? :P here's praying!

I think you'll be fine mate, especially with this card being less sought after compared to other brands i don't see the queue being as long, depending on how much stock they get.

Would be sweet if they were able to get like 50+ cards, that would make all of the people happy ^^

I ordered at 14:31 so if I get a notification you'll hopefully been soon after, if the rest of the system is ready that is !

I also haven't heard anything bad about KFA2, iirc they are Galax but just branded differently for the EU and the are a large long standing manufacturer.

Galax, KFA2, Emtek, Gainward they are all subbrand of Palit. Some of them are even made in the same factory as Palit with the same components. And Palit is the biggest vendor in the world.

While people may not be buying these GPU brands much in the west, the demand for these would be huge in Asia which is where most of those stocks will go.

You got EVGA too? And at 14.30 nice work. I was refreshing constantly from 14:00 and had to do a school run! I went from laptop to smartphone and you better believe I didn't stop refreshing or ordering for one second! Ha.

And I think you are correct :) it's not as popular but a good make. Exciting week!
 
People also need to remember that the likes of MSI have over 2000 orders, and the Inno 3d barely 5% of that number, however MSI are huge and their biggest markets is USA and the West which is where their concentration lies, whereas Inno 3d are the most popular brand in the far east like India for example, India practically worship that company with a passion so much so they would never dare touch another brand, so for Inno 3d the far east will be their priority before usa and europe even become a factor in their minds. So you can't really say im glad I ordered a not so popular card because someone in queue 24 for the inno3d is most likely going to get their card after someone at queue number 150 for an MSI card. Similar with EVGA who literally only care about America, and don't bother with any other market till they satisfied America.

Same here dude, sitting here working from home with all the tabs open looking for an update, i should stop lmao

I hope its this week i need to test the card out as I've played Russian roulette with my past cards and whacked a block on before testing and been lucky they work :D

That makes a lot of sense, and was one of my biggest dreads. However, if 53 is really my position, I just hope EVGA will supply at least 100 cards to overclockers.co.uk before the end of October. If not that'd really suck, but I have got to face that possibility.

I take your point on board but with past launches where cards have been in short supply, KFA, Galax, Palit and Inno have all been the cards which fulfilled their pre orders and went back into actual stock first.

Also if you look at other retailers its normally only the Pailt and Inno cards which have expected stock dates whereas the big brand names of MSI, EVGA, Asus have nothing.

I and others on here have cancelled pre orders and bought the Palit cause it was actually in stock and we were fed up waiting (this is exactly what I did with the 1080ti launch and I was fed waiting for EVGA)

Me too. I really do think I am autisic sometimes... Waiting to hear back on that one... But yes, its all I can think about! Ha
